- In Indian subcontinent, Delhi Sultanate witnessed the dominance of various Muslim dynasties for a long period of time. One such dynasty was of Mamluk Dynasty which was a Turkish dynasty & they used to appoint their Mulasim (soldiers) from Afghanistan. Jalal-ud-din started his career as an officer of the Mamluk dynasty, and rose to an important position under Sultan Muizzuddin Qaiqabad. After Qaiqabad was paralyzed, a group of nobles appointed his infant son Shamsuddin Kayumars as the new Sultan, and tried to kill Jalal-ud-din. Instead, Jalaluddin had them killed, and became the regent. A few months later, he deposed Kayumars, and became the new Sultan. Jalal-ud-din Khalji, also known as Firuz-Al-Din Khalji or Jalaluddin Khilji became the founder and first Sultan of the Khalji dynasty that ruled the Delhi Sultanate from 1290 to 1320. Alauddin Khilji was a nephew and a son-in-law of his predecessor Jalaluddin. When Jalaluddin became the Sultan of Delhi after deposing the Mamluks , Alauddin was given the position of Amir-i-Tuzuk (equivalent to master of ceremonies). Nobles warned him against his nephew Alauddin Khilji who wanted to usurp the throne. But he paid no heed to their warnings and continued to consider Alauddin like a son. Blinded with greed, Alauddin conspired to kill his uncle.

Well this history is propaganda. Khiliji is a pashtun tribe from Afghanistan and Jalaludine was also Persian and some say pashtun , he defeated ganges khan or his army in 1219 In afghanistan in Parwan province, later Ganges khan back then he got injured in Jalabad by the same people. After that Ganges and his army did not came back to the south part of afghanistan, all battle happend on the otherside Khilki tribe was the onel ruling afghanistan and India and they fought them off but it was not in India that is rubbish, it is Pakistan that has spread so much false history for its own survival, others are trying to make Khilji tribe which is a pashtun tribe into turkish people ha ha. JALALUDIN knew there was only one place he could face Ganges khand and that is why he fought in Parwan province in Afghanistan because His main capital was taken, so his own army was defeated in his own land it was because of the pashtun poeple that he defeared him the same with Ganges khan death jalabad. The Khilji then took over which is a pashtun Afghan tribe an they fought the Mongol on the north side of Afghanistan but not alwasy becaus Mongle avoided this area the rest is just pure false history, the turkes are trying to claime it the others are trying to claime it but Ganges never and ever went to panajab or India it is a pure propaganda to steel history.
