Although the 'S' model has around 10 hp less than the RS model, the S has better low and mid range torque. Also the RS and R models have firmer suspension which can make for a rough ride on bumpy roads whereas the S model will give a more compliant ride on public roads for those who don't frequent race-tracks. As for the Z900 it is my bet that it will still be bulkier and heavier than the Street Triple, and cannot match the Street Triple's Daytona-derived sport-bike chassis. In any case us motorcyclists are spoiled to death by the many fine choices coming from the manufacturers these days. Excellent review btw.
Really? What type of terrain are you riding on? I have the previous model R, and have never even given it a second thought. Edit: perhaps you mean seat height?
SineOccasu I mean the ground clearance not the seat height....a lot of my friends who have ridden and are riding the old module have problems in the urban roads due to the clearance
No. After reading glowing reviews for years I (foolishly) bought one out of state sight unseen. The pegs are too high and the bars are too low so unless you want to spend a fortune on bar risers & something to lower the foot pegs I wouldn't recommend it to anyone not built like a chimpanzee.
1:17 Its difficult agree that "its almost all new, all the way...etc". except this line, i agree with every point mentioned in the review. Very good review, would love to see numbers like 1) stopping distance compared to old model 2) 0-100 compared to old model.
Z900 is ridiculously heavy so in the end despite having more horsepower, the power to weight ratio of striple is actually more than the Z900. Z might have a higher top speed but I think the 765 would reach 0-100 quicker.
I'm sorry but I prefer the older model. It might be better on performance but looks and raw bike means everything to me! Lol ABS and traction control......what? If you need that to ride a bike then you shouldn't ride a bike....
beauty is in the eye of the beholder, i prefer this instead of the giant bug like head of the Z900. but still i prefer the classic looks of a motorcycle like a bmw nineT or a street twin.
sachin mb i totally agree i do wish for it but you cant really hope for more at that price. Afterall it is the cheapest motorcycle to offer more than 100hp in india. And personally i do like the analog tacho and the dancing blue lights on them.

The host came dressed right out of Star Wars set... 😆😆😆
Ravi Mahara something like Superman!
Well, why do I love those headlights???
what is the ground clearance of this model....last model had the issue of very low ground clearance, is this the same issue here or has it changed

Hemanth Rao 160/165mm I think

Maybe your friends are overweight and gave the bike's suspension some good stress test
is it comfortable for six footer with pillion
power ammo Yes

I will purchase it for sure
Z900 vs Street Triple S
I would love to have this one days 😍😍😍
British are known for looting other's. No suprise this British brand is asking for a lot more money than what this bike is truly worth.
This bike smashes almost every bike in its class, No bike in its segment will even come close to the performance of 3RS. It will even crush z900.
wid more power its intresting package now !
Ravi Utkarsh ReVzZ Rider wait for RS 😍
I think the Kawasaki Z900 blows this one out of the park even though this is better specced.

+Prajit Hari you are right and so are few people who actually know about bikes ... racking brains against the illogical comments is waste of time

Once you see the RS this model S just doesn't add up ...

Bikes's quality is fyn.... but overdrive has to improve its video making qualities..
awesome bike...
brave bike
Buddy get off the outside edge of the road it's annoying to watch otherwise great riding and review
headlights
God above.... these indian reviews drive me nuts!
The front looks like alien with popping eyes... 😀😀 it's horrible looking for me..

it looks super beautiful for me :)
shame on triumph for not offering that LCD gauges. Its pricey enough for it
sachin mb you mean the tft display right?
Kaustubh Rajpathak yup they should've given it in all models
sachin mb I prefer to have analog gauges, call me old school but a hybrid of analog and digital seems like the best compromise.
Sourabh Sekhar I like them too
sachin mb i totally agree i do wish for it but you cant really hope for more at that price. Afterall it is the cheapest motorcycle to offer more than 100hp in india. And personally i do like the analog tacho and the dancing blue lights on them.
This bike has already started to feel like an incompetent bloke as Kawasaki introduced Z900 to the battle..✌✌
ground clearance, heat, mobility in city, seat height...
Don't upload 5 min-videos. If you can't do a nice job, quit.
Front looks ugly! :-/
you do look ugly as fuck. you are right
