US shows would use dramatic music in the background and use cringey words. UK do scenes realistically and gracefully. This storyline is the best we’ve had in a longtime. 2021 is looking hopeful with these storylines.
If you like this storyline, you would probably also really be impressed with Aaron's abuse storyline on Emmerdale. It was how I was introduced to British Soaps.

I must commend this show for such an accurate portrayal of childhood sexual abuse trauma surfacing. But what I must also point out is a majority of victims do not have procreation as evidence of what they went through. If there wasn’t concrete evidence of statutory rape, justice would more than likely never have been served.

And people like you is the main reason men commit suicide because no one wants to listen to them because they’ll be know as a ‘weak man’ or a ‘cry baby’
Mick is more of a hardman than you’ll ever be. Show some empathy dude it might get you somewhere in life. Even if it’s not real it’s based on real issues which you clearly don’t seem to understand.
Honestly one of the best scenes Danny Dyer and Kellie Bright have ever performed together. This scene had me in tears.
