Once again amazing tips ,tight lines ,be safe out there.
Thanks Paul!
Light tackle is where instincts and know how come into play the most. You didn't miss a thing about fishing this way.
Thank you for the great feedback Chris!
Excellent video
Thanks James!
Good info! Thanks!
No problem Tony!
Thanks for that...I appreciate that you guys advice on swing baits...I'm still skeptical using very light lines though. I know the thinner lines make it more difficult catching beast fish/ though more stealthy...but I feel you guys should use your thought process real time while using the drag which is the finesse I need more knowledge on. I've seen guys catch trophy fish on 10lb floro leader which is incredible. As a matter of fact can you explain using the drag system on both light tackle and live liner reels please?
No problem Frankie! Yes adjusting the drag is definitely going to be based on feel and the reel itself. I try to use the same reels as much as possible because I get used to how much drag I should use. The more and more fish you catch, the more you start to dial in how much drag you should use and when to adjust it. I will keep that in mind next time I am fighting a larger fish and try to get it on film!
@@tonyacevedo3149 thanks my man that'll help a ton...I'm just concerned on the line breakage that would be great to understand the adjustments on the fly. Thanks for the response...like always you guys are the best!
Tony, is that a Hobie kayak you are fishing from? I have been reading comparison reviews on peddle kayaks but the reviews all seem to be for freshwater fishing and some hint that Hobbies are better for saltwater but don't say why and if they are talking inshore or offshore.
I am looking for the two or three best for inshore.
Do you have any recommendations?
Great video! New sub! Like the rods... what are they? Greg B.
Thanks Gregory! In this video I am using an All Star Inshore Series Rod 7'6 Medium Power (the blue one) and the black rod is a Century Weapon Jr. 7'6 Fast Action rod custom made by Black Pelican Custom Rods.
@@tonyacevedo3149 thank you Sir! Keep it coming....newbie to salt water
