I have used a fleet similar to John's B2s. I used a Munificent, and 4 hardcells. All had B2 rocket droids. Light fighter screen of the aces trifighters. And LTTs on everything of course. It was an effective strategy. My opponent also chose surprise attack as the objective so I crushed him in black dice
Great game again. Ken - I really like that medium squadron ball. Might tuck that one away for a list. John - that was a really cool list. Would love to see it played against a heavy squadron list. It looks quick enough to engage carriers before they hit you too hard and you can raid for squadrons. Would be fun to watch. I’m keen to try a list with a Mar Tuuk lucid voice carrier with b2 rocket troopers raid for jab followed up by a patriot fist phylon tractor beams to lock ships in place for the lucid voice.

I think the problem with Mercy Fleet the way you did, is that it's spending 37 points to earn 40 points. It's just not really enough to swing a game, and you're losing dice on enemy ships. Maybe it would be better to have a regular Charger with it so it can get at least two shots (a double arc or two single shots) and than speeds off. But that is of course also risky. Recusants are nasty. Mean arcs, and a silly navigation chart. Their shields and hull are kinda low for a ship their size, but their defense token suite still is pretty neat, particular for a Clone Wars ship. I am playing in a 250 point CC campaign game, and my opponent has two Recusants with Martuuk, Patriot Fist, H9 and Sensor Teams. One of my fleets is Obi Wan with an Acc and 3 Consulars. A Recusant, particular with Patriot Fist, can pretty reliably one-shot a healthy Consular.
Great game lads! The TF commander sounds really interesting, I’ve yet to actually use him myself but I love double Rec lists! It just looks so threatening!!
TF is fun in the way he wants to leverage Raid tokens to increase damage dealt. As John would say it is a "mini game" in the battle. The dual recusants are mean machines for sure - that front arc is just huge! - Ken
@@IONRadio do I understand this correctly? if I attack a ship in long range and I can add a black cube through tf -1726 I can do that even though the range of black cubes is usually short??

Feel like those prox mines would be much scarier if you drop them on and just behind the station, where the shots are obstructed and the majority of ships cannot even try to destroy them as a result.
I ran 3 or 4 battleCells with B2s and LTT, paving the way for TF's Recusant. I almost ran it with Jedi Hostage, but chickened out at the last minute. Putting it and TF on a Muni is an interesting idea.
