Ah thanks a million for watching and taking the time to leave such a kind comment 😄 Every great journey starts with one step. It's great you have started in photography, enjoy the process my friend 👍
I'm a Sony guy too! I have three f4 lenses 18-105mm 10-20mm and 70-200mm I also have a 23mm f2 prime. I shoot with the A6500, I'm planning on going full frame and I was thinking of going to the A7ii. What's your opinion on buying one in 2023? Is it too out dated? Great video as always.
Hey paddy, how are ya? Yeah the A7ii is a really nice camera and served me well for many years. In saying that though, I would absolutely recommend saving the extra few euros and trying to find a second hand A7iii. That would be a very significant upgrade. Bar the full frame the A7ii and the A6500 they are quite similar and if I may be so bold as to say the A6500 might out perform in some aspects. I hope that offers some clarity, I love the A7iii and couldn't recommend it enough to anyone. Cheers! 😃
@@NeilArthurs Hi Neil. Thanks for the response. Yes I do agree there are aspects where the a6500 has better capabilities than the A7ii. I have being eyeing the A7iii as well which I'll probably go for.
Why don't you just get the proper Lee adapter rings for the lenses, no need to mess with step up rings then. Also if you get the Lee caps you can leave the rings on the lenses and all you need to do is remove the cap and pop the holder on, it takes seconds to do. 🙂
A fine suggestion indeed my friend and one i have for sure thought about, but unfortunately the lee filter adapter rings are pretty pricey and as the title of the video suggests.....I ain't got no money 😅 I am putting some pennies aside each month to save so we'll see how I fair out. I think upgrading the filter system one way or another will be the next thing I do 👍
Great job Neil, sound was great. I did notice in Lofoten you hand holding some filters to the front of the lens 😊 makes sense, I think Camera built in filters might be the way forward “someday” good luck..
Ah Dave thanks a million for the comment, yeah I do lose my marbles a bit using the filters for sure. Built-in filters would be amazing! Someday indeed 😁
Thanks for this! It makes me feel much better using an almost 10-year-old camera. Broke photography = best photography! Haha.
Haha 👍 thanks a million for the comment Mandy, I am delighted you found it comforting 🤣
thanks for sharing-Iam a newbee. Absolutely loved the photos you squeezed in.

Looking slim dude. Way to go.
Haha thanks man! Appreciate the compliment 😊
There ya are with your camera bag!
👍
Awesome video dude. I agree it's nice to do a bit of an inventory every once in awhile.
Ah thanks a million dude, the lighting is shockingly bad though. I need to figure that part out 🤣
Really handy tips there for packing camera gear. You can't beat a comfortable bag when you're out hiking 😊
It's a fine bag at that!! 👍
