I have to respectfully disagree. I think they tied on lyrics but you’re right that Tech won on the flows. They’re both absolute monsters though and I love that they made this happen, didn’t hold back, stuck to similar subject matter, and that Tech gave NF his props. He didn’t try to embarrass him on his own song, he didn’t give a half assed verse, and he treated him as an equal. Excellent stuff and it’s one of my favorites.

The way i way i see personally is that we are hearing a new level of using flow and cadence as a separate jazz-like percussion using words with their inflections to float over the beat and notes. Not that it hasn't done before but that these 2 are showing their mastery to work within their own created pockets of beat and flow that fit within the template of the instrumentals underneath. Crazy. So excited to see this progress and catch on in the mainstream hopefully.
