    in US 15% tip is customary, at SIT DOWN restaurants (not fast food, buffets, cafeterias, or street vendors), some coffee shops, and bars/clubs ... tipping at bars is usually $1 per drink at the bar if served by as waitress, tip up to 10%, at coffee shops it's optional, at most $1 if they have a tip jar at the check out, otherwise if you sit down at the coffee shop and are served, then you tip the waitress, if you order standing up at the counter, tip is optional ... don't worry, you will get notice if a tip a due ... like in Africa, first time you go out take a local with you, rules vary from locale to locale, community to community, culture to culture .... America is not one tribe

    • @malcolmtbm
      @malcolmtbm 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      the other places to tip is at a hair dresser/ barber shop, car wash, if an attendants cleans the inside of your car, and you have to face them, $5 tip is usual, some may tip up to $20 depending upon you car, hair dresser/beauty shops are tricky, if your are going back tip so, up to $10. if not going back, tip is optional, note if you fail to tip, do not go back to that shop ... and, in the states if someone does you a favor, like carry your luggage or give you a ride, extend a tip (carry small denominations, s and 5s --- do not not tip with spare change, only give spare change to poor people), if they take the money well and fine, if refuse the money do not pi0sh it ... of course you tip at airport and hotels (if someone carries your luggage), and valet services if someone parks your car $5 is normal ($1 would be considered an insult)...

    Awesome content guys, thank you. A security deposit is what the fee is called. Shopping for fruits and veggies in supermarkets is only convenient but more expensive, with no chance of bargaining even 😂. I think the internet in Uganda is so expensive for nothing yet it is unreliable!
