He was moved out of railways may be due to many such cases. He pursued with Bio Toilets that was a flop, never bothered to increase speed of trains which for over 30 years remains the same. In many cases like Mas Cbe Shatabdi, Vaigai, Brindavan, Kovai just a few top trains in SR have slowed down under his leadership. He took no interest to complete FEDL of Mas, Blr, Hyd to Mumbai lines still os after 75 years and trains cover 50-55 kms ph to make airlines mint money. He borrowed heavily for electrification and others. Overall under BJP, LHB rakes have come in a big way as old ICF coaches were stopped by Mr. Prabhu, electrification was given a big push to save on diesel cost. Corona has stopped most passenger trains but still express trains aren't speeded up, stations are like public choultries except a selected few new ones. Mr. Goyal visited many stations after due intimation so that a small area could be kept clean. I never saw him visiting a running train.
