Ok hear me out. The best way to climb in this game and say any other video game is to hard force one character/ one composition every game. Pick a good one. I just started playing tft for the first time 3 weeks ago and im already diamond by hardforcing scrap every game. Ranking up is easy if you are not in Gm/challenger

@@FantasyFantasy934 How are you hard forcing when you’re contested? I got many firsts in a row forcing scrap, but once I got to Diamond I was contested a lot more so I’ve been playing a lot of TF re-roll since it’s not as contested.

@@angellopez5315I just hit challenger and I just force scrap half of my games. Diamond is indeed the rank where you can’t just play the same comp every game without thinking, but you can still play the same comp a good chunk of your games. And more importantly, the more you play a comp, the better you get at it. It’s better to play 3 comps perfectly than 10 comps terrible.
Here is what I do :
if I have a strong AD opener ==> enforcer/ambushers (lots of unit in common, the start is similar)
Strong AP opener ==> emissary sorcs
Otherwise, if you feel you have no direction, not sure what to play ==> scrap
Strong opener means upgraded units, 3 cost or multiple pairs at least, coupled with the right augment.
Academy, visionary, Urgot reroll and renata rerolls are all solid comps aswell, but it’s so rare you have the conditions for those comps. Twitch is a bait tho, don’t play it.

@@angellopez5315and yeah, if you play scrap, assume you’re going to get constested, it is going to happen. That’s why you want to maximise your econ (make 10/20 asap, even Opensell your board sometimes + 1 econ augment) and roll before others : on 4-1, and on scuttle puddle, you just roll on the pve round
