Mate, I add some additional notes about the car and the driver in Info section! And good news for all the Nissan Fan's: The car will updated with a 6 shift sequential gearbox for 2013. MPZRACEVIDEO and FINGER VIDEO will follow him!
Its great seeing the S13 used for grip driving.. They are incredibly nimble cars and the chassis can handle a lot of hp comfortably with the right setup. This car is the God of lightweight Japanese sportscars in my opinion.
THANK YOU GUYS FOR THE VIDEO! I have 2 S13s and I kove this car. I thought the CA18 engine is not worth it but now.... please put more videos of this car. I've never seen a 200SX on a hillclimb before.
SR20's are mostly good if you want to buy a motor and drop it right in. or if you arent looking to do a lot of work to it. CA18's, if built, are a little stronger then the SR20's for various reasons. go onto some 240sx/180sx/silvia forums for more information, a lot of people are always posting and asking the differences for their own build. also there is a chance that where these guys are, the CA is more popular and readily available so it is a better choice financially.
with the right setup I believe this car can be 3 sec faster. needs shorter gears and better susp. setup. sounds like 580hp but can only put like 350 at the wheels before loosing grip etc. has a lot of potential though
This is pretty cool. Myself, I don't have access to cheap foreign market engines, so I decided to do a build with a cheap QG18DE and a transmission adapter instead. E16i rods (forged factory) to drop the CR to 7.6:1 (and ARP con rod bolts). E16i wet manifold fed by SC14 doing drawthrough. VCS delete, and E16 dizzy run off the intake cam via adapter where phaser used to be. GM 5pin ignition to pull timing on boost via hobbs switch. I haven't decided whether to do wet or dry sump yet, but if wet I'll def need to mod the oil pan. Ah yeah, KA24 ARP head studs too. Aiming for 250-ish HP and plenty of low end torque. Why do this? because I can
Amazing!!! great driving and a amazing job on that CA18DET!!! But why is the road wet as hell in one shot and dry as "hell" in the next... is it a composite of hill climbs or is it just a local rain on some of the track?
Yeah, no shit captain obvious; I said it's a fail because it's supposed to be 200SX, not SX200. I hate when people tell me things I already know; want to hear something that you probably already know? When the 180SX was first manufactured in Japan, it was sold with the CA18; a couple years later in its production, it was upgraded to the SR20DET but retained the 180SX name. In other markets like the UK, it was called the 200SX but had a CA18. Now I hope you know how I feel.
This car was called the 180sx, 200sx, and 240sx in different parts of the world depending on the engine. In North America, we got a 2.4L KA24DE engine, hence 240sx. In Europe it was called the 200sx and came with a CA18DET first, and SR20DET later just like in Japan.
dose any one know what other mods he did what internals he's got forge head work as far as i am told the ca18 can make 300 but this has proved it worng wow i would love to get my hands on this spec on the motor and bulid one here in Perth wa doe he have a page or face book wow
Its really cool to see the progression from 420hp to 580! This is the first video I've seen like that, how cool!
So nice to see a SX200 not drifting.
It looks weird i`m used to see it going sideways
Real beauty. The S13 is more than a drift machine. Its all round performance. Thats what makes the S13 the best!
@@nattsojaqs9822 true. It does well in road racing and time attack as well.
Great looking S chassis and an impressive showing for CA18!
ca18det has way better sound than sr20det
Hands fucking down! CA18 Any day of the year!
Mate, I add some additional notes about the car and the driver in Info section!

Valentin you are a boss mate, first hillclimb....you handled it super. Cheers!!!
Its great seeing the S13 used for grip driving.. They are incredibly nimble cars and the chassis can handle a lot of hp comfortably with the right setup. This car is the God of lightweight Japanese sportscars in my opinion.
This car sounds and looks amazing! Nice vid!
that thing looks so solid. hardly any body roll at all.
In the Info section you will find more information about.

Turbo sounds so beautiful
Such a gorgeous thing the 180/200/240 SX is. You dont seen them being used for grip driving often.
PIG NOSE! So nice to see an s13 racecar! Not just another spray painted drift beater. Nice driving. I know drifting is slower but don't fight it.
they should really make a game out of this event! would be great!
Like a certain type or a race event that should be in Grandturismo or Forza Motorsport
Hell yeah!!!
Thanks you for all of the fantastic videos!
any one else notice the gtr badge on the front bumper?
Nice car mate!
Mobne! The one who inspired many of us CA18 owner making some real power from that engine 😁
dayum, that thing is pwnding the uphil. With abit more grip in the U turns,it'll be a beast
....
където и да ида те откривам lol :D
+David Dimov kot takoa :P
Goes from a internally gated to a externally gated wastegate halfway through the video, sounds badass externally gated.
Loving this car and video! Subscribed! Also loving the honda Videos! Great work and awesome sound!
first thing i notice was that badass suspension setup
Wau, da sind wir aber schon gespannt! Hoffe es wird dann auch einen Abstecher in die Schweiz geben... Liebe Grüsse
my dream car my dream setup ohh jezzzz
Hello, this car is on sale in Switzerland.

Thanks Mate.
this looks like so much fun
Nice machine ! Great footage as always mate :)
580hp seems a bit much for that car but what awesome sound and what tight grip control in corners. Awesome!
How much boost do you run? Do you have a website where all the specs of internals and the whole car can be found?
Thank you for the vid .... et merci à Valentin pour ses explications ;)
with the right setup I believe this car can be 3 sec faster. needs shorter gears and better susp. setup.

Iron block, direct cams (no rocker arms) to enable higher revolutions, those are the main reasons why I prefer it to SR, but both great engines.
WOW what a difference after the mods
this video can be summarized using one word..."Sweet"
look at the skid mark at 2:36. nice!
I want this car so bad!
There may also be a possible power restriction programmed into the ECU.
I would say that's why it's fun to drive
I love this old-school turbo lag! Without gay anti-lag! Way to go!
JEZUZ!!!!! this car is a beast!
Une bombe cette S13 😍
nice car man sounds sweet as
Can you get some more detailed specs of the car - what turbocharger and engine parts, suspension etc...
nice man! love this im building mine for hill climb too but rb20
this thing runs like a rc car! awesome!
1:31 sick sounds
geiler sound einfach vorallem vom Wastegate !
hab auchmal n S13 gehabt , hab immernoch n paar teile davon zuhause !
z.B. ne Invidia Auspuffanlage !
Thumbs up for scaring the track worker around 3:20 ! BOO, IT'S A MONSTER, HAHA!
2:36 Putting it down! Nice Car! Faster than it looks. Can you please put CA18 in the title already?
I came on every upshift!
and we will follow your updated vid kekekeke
Amazing!!! great driving and a amazing job on that CA18DET!!! But why is the road wet as hell in one shot and dry as "hell" in the next... is it a composite of hill climbs or is it just a local rain on some of the track?
Alexander Wingeskog It's a cut of some stages the rain footage was maybe from a training lap and the dry from another lap
I'd love to see it at an FD event.
Oh, awesome :D I never noticed that . . that's great (:
And a 6-speed sequential, that's pretty awesome too; can't wait to see it (:
Actually, the Silvia was titled the 200sx in Austrailia and parts of Europe. The US got the 240sx and the rest of the world got the 180sx/Silvia.
Yeah, no shit captain obvious; I said it's a fail because it's supposed to be 200SX, not SX200. Hell yeah, this is how s13's should be driven
simply amazing
I know it's been a long time since this video but I ask you what kind of exhaust you used on the s13.
Many thanks
awesome!!!
not inline six but when he starts to go fast it sounds real sick!
not sure if the car is not set-up to it's optimum or the drive is not used to it..
I miss my 180sx
Full send 👍🏾
this sounds like the good old turbos with rally cars atached from the eighties...
nice vid!
nice car
Awesome!
doesn't seem very nimble, but goes great none the less.
looks like fun!!!!!!!!
What kind of dump valve is this? Mad sick vehicle... probably 15th time Im watching it!
+TeamTinnheia Me too xD
TeamTinnheia I think it's a tial q blow off valve
Great car
I like the flares over the fenders.. where you get em?
you can get them everywhere. try ebay also.
Pure Love
This is not a 580hp car. Thanks for the vids + if he wants to run some better #'s and times suspension revision + a lot of aero work
What gearbox are you using? having issues picking the right one for my CA20DET (ca18det stroker engine)
Sounds like an RB25 . . amazing how he can handle such a monster without sliding everywhere
This car was called the 180sx, 200sx, and 240sx in different parts of the world depending on the engine. In North America, we got a 2.4L KA24DE engine, hence 240sx. In Europe it was called the 200sx and came with a CA18DET first, and SR20DET later just like in Japan.
Holy wheelspin, Batman! The car looks amazing, and sounds mean but not really that fast.
the car is like: fuck this i wanna go sideways!!!
its a CA18 making around 500hp (maybe a bit more now), in car video can be found here /watch?v=DBZh0o4OEOA
Turbocharger is propably the only amazing think about this car :D
The sound is from a sr20 not ca18
Yes I agree it doesn't sound like a straight-six but you have to admit, why would he put a GTR badge ? Troubling huh.
this car must be drifting in this road
Sounds like a change from the CA18DET to SR20DET.
which info section where? I am curious on suspension more than power.
agreed 100%
Don't forget the Silvia!
dose any one know what other mods he did what internals he's got forge head work as far as i am told the ca18 can make 300 but this has proved it worng wow i would love to get my hands on this spec on the motor and bulid one here in Perth wa doe he have a page or face book wow
The guy went as far as putting a GTR badge in front of the car. I assume it could probably be a RB engine. ( check at 2:06 )
how about adding more squat?
this car inst meant to be driven in a grip race..this is the ultimate drifter and its obvious
sounds like an sr20?
Jaki ty jest silnik ? SR, RB czy może JZ ?
I agree with thomas
