      @@HummusPvm had a loose strap holding a load down on my truck. Pulled over to side of the road, was tightening down the strap, then bam, I'm getting sucked under the truck being pulled in by the car that just hit me from behind at over 45+ mph. Broke my neck, back, ribs, pelvis, and my left leg looked like a used twisty tie for a loaf of bread. I didn't care at all about myself, i was only focused on my son, making sure he was ok an not hurt. I wasnt coughing up blood so i figured i would live. I remember looking at my leg right after and thinking welp thats gunna take a long time to heal, i better still be able to mountain trail run dang it.

      It's the Thai women who does it right the men shown doing this probably isnt even close to being Thai or know their culture. The guy is twisting their knees outwards so the opponent would kick into something hard instead of the back or side of the knee caps. In Maui Thai you supposed to have strong elbows and knees but they have such honor and pride in their fighting that they don't do these shitty lil moves unless they are dog fighting. But we know Americans like to have any advantages in everything so I'm not surprised if these are low life cheating ahh bas tards

    For anyone wondering about the swelling, his foot had a fracture from kicking the knee and the autoimmune system kicks in to heal as well as cause excruciating pain and swelling to prevent them from continuing.
    However you could easily go full midoriya like Jon jones did with his broken toe when juiced up chael sonnen tried to pull full guard. Shows how strong both chael and Jon is during that moment, chael for breaking the toe and Jon for fighting through it

    • @mythbunkers4716
      @mythbunkers4716 ปีที่แล้ว +53

      You know, Joe Rogan said if Chael survived the end of that round, no more than 30 seconds, he would've been the second person to beat Jon on record, because the doctor would've stopped it to save Jon's foot.

    • @sac-_

      autoimmune refers to the immune system attacking itself. This is just apart of the innate immune system which causes inflammation. Included in the inflammation is swelling which is caused by increased blood flow.

And slightly rotate your leg so that they kick preferably your knee or the hard front of your shin. It hurts a little more, but if they don't have strong bones, it won't matter because they won't be able to stand on a broken leg.

      How do you block with elbows without leaving your ribs exposed?

    • @filipe_paixao
      @filipe_paixao ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @strafer8764 you do the movement as they throw the punch.
      You mantain your normal posture and when they throw a lunch to the body, you move your elbow (that was pointing downwards) up so that by the time the hand reaches, instead of hitting the middle of your arm that was a bit higher, it hits the elbow.
      You can also use it to block other types of strikes in other ways, you can probably find a few useful videos on youtube if your search "blocking with elbows"
      You could also use the eblows to block those dangerous thai knees they throw when you are in a clinch with them and they managed to get their hands over your head (aka, they can now bend your head in by spamming knees on your head while controling your head.), you place your arms with your elbows pointing downward and block their knee strikes with them.
      Well, if they are s bit experienced or a bir smart they probably will strike your ribs on the sides instead of targeting your elbows, but you could also time that to block that with your elbows (in case you are not using your own legs to block it).
      Holding pads also makes you more aware of how to block so having some extra trainings where you are helping other people by holding pads for them can also serve as trainin if you have thr mindset of using that to get better at blocking.
      I would also like to say blocking with the front of the head can also work since people break theirr fingers more easily when they strike there, but I don't want to risk brain damage so I don't recommend.
      Oh, a particular elbow strike that people gonna hate you for is a downward elbow strike while moving back as a counter to an uppercut. The force of the 2 strikes combined on the finger is definitely not the best, it tskes a bit of practice to time it right but makes them not use that hand for a good time (also watch out for the strength you use on your elbow, cause if you put a lot of strength in it and they break their fingers people will look at and blame you. So I would suggest to first experiment just timing it with some speed, to see how it works, and gradually increase the speed, if they start to feel pain you get to decide how much pain is enough. Though if you get some guy that likes to go all out in sparing or in an actual combat, then go ahead and give break all his fingers... well, first use a warning at less power and then go for it to avoid major problems)

    Your thigh is a BIG muscle and your body's reaction to impact is to contract the muscles to block force (hence why you'd just die if you got punched in the stomach while unconcious) and repeatedly causing that reaction is a very positive energy trade for the one delivering the kicks

      Feet can be strengthened the same way that hands can, you just have to focus and do it. Lifting weights with your legs (squats, deadlifts, lunges, etc) as well as practicing kicking pads or a heavybag hitting with both the shin and foot is a great way to strengthen your foot bones by a lot. Also the fact that in real life you're not gonna take your shoes off in a street fight helps greatly in protecting the foot bones
