It was great seeing the video on the badlands natl park...I traveled with my daughter from Virginia to Seattle in July of 2023...the Badlands and surrounding area were one of my favorite memories. Its such a daunting task to plan a cross-country trip but your videos and travel guide helped so much. We had a limited amount of travel time but with your help we got to experience the Badlands, Wall Drugs lol, Devils Tower, Yellowstone, and Grand Teton National Parks. There were so many wonderful memories. Thank you again for the great help.❤
Great video. I visited Badlands with my son back in 2012. We stayed in Wall and I bought a Free Icewater Store T-shirt that I still use. We visited the park on a very hot day, 115 degrees in the shade. At one of the rest areas an RV pulled in next to us and two barefooted kids, around 10 yo, jumped out, screamed and jumped back in. Without knowing exactly I believe that the pavement was a least 170 F and they both got blisters on their foot soles. Heading back to Wall we used Sage Creek Road wich was an interesting expderience.
Badlands National Park and surrounding area is highly underrated. Visited here in June 2020, also Devils Tower, Custer State Park, Crazy Horse, Belle Fourche (geographical center of US), Spearfish Canyon, and Mount Rushmore. Hill City has a very nice KOA campground. Thank you for sharing this content. 😊
