Commander Gridiron is the Mark Vuncannon the owner of Gridiron Studios. Dr.Tannis Rand looks like Dr. Quest, the medical case is the Elite Operator Set ALCATRAZ found on the Gridiron website.
1:02 at Joefest they had a prototype of Dr Tannis on display and someone there mentioned how it looks exactly like Johnny Quest's dad Dr. Benton C. Quest, that's all I see now because it totally does resemble him.
Have these guys even put any of these 6” figures out yet aside from the translucent figures from a couple weeks ago? Seems like all they put out are 3D renders
I'm aware wave 1 is releasing this summer (aside from the translucent ones) but seeing how we know what figures are coming out upto wave 4, maybe 2026 2027 lol
@@SHARKNEWZ just seems so odd to drop as many renders as they have over the last 2 years with no figures, that being said I did preorder the red dude for the hooded heads hahaha but now that blue dude is a thing (and hopefully cheaper) I can cancel red and order blue so I don’t have to repaint for my CC 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Probably just building the hype to get a good turn out for the next crowd fund. They have their Santa collection out, so they 'do' make actual plastic products, but I dont think they are as articulated as these are suppose to be. Luckily they sell through bbts so we dont lose any money until they are in stock.
@@twoquestionmarks yeah that’s really the only saving grace, at least with BBTS you can PO and not worry about getting scammed…wish I had preordered the earthworm Jim figures on BBTS….. that line is like 2 years late coming
If this company ever actually releases some figures they'll be scary. But I'm happy to see female characters finally. I still think the prices are right on the cusp of being too high though.
Did they talk about that Fog characters having a cybernetic arm? It looks like his right side is kind of translucent...to give him kind of a mist/fog effect
So Shark, not sure if you realize but that alt head with Dr Tannis Rand is very close to what Dr Venom looks like in the GI Joe marvel run of comics. Now I’m just waiting for some sort of trooper release that has an alternate head of Scarface. Seeing as how the Classified team kind of leans towards the cartoon, it’s cool to see someone else stepping up and doing a bit of a deep dive on the publication that got the ball rolling with ARAH. Hooded CC, Dr Venom, the Jugglers, keep them coming I say.
that's very true. just like the crimson moon line from fresh monkey, they're using the UK Palitoy versions i think, so that's a bit outta my knowledge so its cool when someone tells me who's the inspiration behind some of these characters.
Commander Gridiron was made because of Mark Vuncannon the owner of Gridiron Studios who will be making all of the weapons for this line, the additional head sculpt he comes with was released in gold on Gridirons website a while back when we first found out they were collaborating with Operation: Monster Force. Dr. Tannis Hand’s additional headsculpt is of Dr. Venom from the early G.I. Joe Marvel comics. I love The Fog and The Goblin who resemble some sort of badass Yakuza members. The Soldier of Fortune are all good, you can’t go wrong with any color you choose although the orange and black/red camo ones stand out to me as the better ones and I am going to have to double up on all four of them. With them releasing the blue and red hooded Cobra Commander head sculpts we just have to hope they release a Crimson Cobra Commander now, very exciting to see this. The only issue I have with all these digital renders is the my will not be released for 18-24 months from now from what the owner of Fresh Monkey Fiction mentioned on a TH-cam channel. Regardless this line has me excited and I am all in on this line which means I will most likely start selling a couple of my other lines not G.I. Joe or Action Force.
@@johnny10grasp3 Yes, I believe that was what they said, but if you are a 3.75" Eagle Force collector you know that they are basically G.I. Joe figures but have also have elements of horror and sci-fi in it. They have the tons of diffrerent factions to go through multiple eras (Classic Era (the Gold Figures), WWII Era, Cold War Era (1970-1980), Modern Day Era (2002-Present), and Cyber Era). The different factions that they have are: Monster Force, Adventure Force, Freedom Force, Space Force, The Singularity, Apophis Legion, Eagle Force Mega, R.I.O.T., Ninja Force, T.E.A.M., Red Resolution, Bruno Bros., Voyagers, Empirean Nebula, The Hidden, Grimm Reapers, Eagle Force,C.L.A.W., Panzerverks, Midnight Men, Liberty League. With so many factions and so many figures in each this line could end up being around for quite some time. I got the two Operation: Monster Force figures from JoeFest and they scale perfectly with G.I. Joe. Not to mention all the weapons are made by Gridiron Studios so it is a win-win situation. I will most likely drop Action Force as these are the figures I have been wanting. You should check them out on www.freshmonkeyfiction.com to see what you think of these figures, they are the 3.75 but they will be 6-inch soon.
Is the demand for 1/12th para military figures that great?! I'd thought Classifieds & VV would be enough. I'm actually surprised VV hasn't jumped on the hooded CC headsculpt. He used to be all over that, anytime Hasbro was too slow to the punch or refused to do something. Although, I suppose he's doing well enough now, he doesn't have to ride their coat tails anymore.
Maybe instead of making up all the new figures start making them and getting them to us .I fr got how Long it's been since I pre order them ,but it's a long time ,so come on monkey force
Idk man, these look cool but they have so many freaking lines going all at once. And they’re using the same molds for different lines. This will get super expensive for those diving in. I’m staying out for now

JOEFEST reveals here: th-cam.com/video/m0SgcXKONfw/w-d-xo.html
Commander Gridiron looks just like the owner of Gridiron Studios Mark Vuncannon
I do hope FMF will grow to a point where they can get figures out quickly and not rely on crowd funding and preorders.
That Dr. Looks like a Benton Quest and Im all for it
Heck yeah! I wonder if they'll make any other figures that resemble other Quest characters, or just other animated characters in general

Such wonderful content from a brand new channel deserves a comment.

These figures look really good but they are releasing soo many and at $37 a pop that can get pricey very quick.
They aren't releasing anything yet. Been waiting on my pre-order for about 2 years.
they are smart, they know they will get tons of sales from the JOE collectors alone....good move!

you know, that makes more sense if its suppose to be fog, idk why i didnt put 2 and 2 together 😂 - this is why mistakes bring out happy accidents
@@SHARKNEWZ I'm good with cyborg ninjas too though. Maybe they can give us some of those down the line

I’m gonna have to pick and choose. It’s just too much stuff from too many companies.
Ah man i really gotta find a place (locally) where they sell them!!!... well now its not a question of if Hasbro will do a CoCo hood but when!
I think they're exclusive to Big Bad Toy Store.
@@RichardHopeless Well thats just freakin great!!!... whatever, im satisfied with my classified
I want the dr just for doctors venom stand in for classified might picture up some others
These all look good to me
I already preordered everything prior and can’t wait to get the line in hand! I think the line is going to be a hit!!!
So down for that navy blue hooded figure
Dr. Tannis looks like Dr. Quest from Johnny Quest
0:42 Race Bannon, and Benton Quest?
oh wow didn't notice that. it does look like him
I don't see it as Race (but can be), but Dr. Quest 💯
Cant wait for the soldier of fortune figures
