And I specifically wanted kicked in the chest to send me flying back 15 feet so that I can get a different perspective on things. Daily Refinement) you provide so much valuable and practical advice. Honestly, its the kind that I would pay for in a one on one coaching. Thanks for always helping us out.

In these moments, your enemies are more reliable to enhance your reputation and learn. Your friends will often agree on your decisions and are afraid to point out flaws to avoid conflict. Use any criticism from your enemies as feedback, then work in the dark.
Unfortunately this is the majority of sellers on the boards that always complain about slow sales and eBay “hiding” their listings when the reality is that they are listing/selling items that have a super slow sell thru rate and/or priced to high, stuff people don’t want, slow handling time, no returns etc etc… I sell mens pre-owned clothing as well and I used to have a 3k+ item store and barely made 10 sales a day and I finally got it thru my head that what I was doing wasn’t working. Fast forward to this year, I have a 800 item store and sell on average 15/day average $300/day in revenue. Got rid of all the garbage and focused on higher sell thru rate items with good prices. I also don’t even promote that much. My highest promoted item(s) are at 5.1% and lowest is 2.1%. Also, ralph lauren is really not that good at all. They can be BUT it’s very specific to styles, color ways, material and size. Focus on higher sell thru rate items. Leave the garbage behind. This goes for ANY category NOT just clothing.
This was so helpful! It has helped me to go thru my own store and see what is vs isnt selling and why. I no longer get things just because i personally like it or like a brand. It doesn't work. At least with the bins mistakes don't cost much

I am lucky to be in no rush and I truly love love the hunt. While i have been developing the business-I am researching all sorts of things related to reselling. I have trained my eye is to see value/no value for clothes and items. In the beginning, I was so attached and valued everything way more than the market will bear. My friends hate to thrift with me now because it's no-no-nada comments from me all day long. Surprisingly, I buy things I wouldn't have gone near before. Glad I found your channel! Thanks again!
That big pic of all the clothes hanging up outside in the trees. I totally get how some might think it's eye catching, or unique. But it makes me think of bugs, rain, dirt, dew, bird crap, tree sap, etc. A bunch of stuff you don't want on the clothes you're buying. Basically it looks like his store is kept outside. When people want to buy clothes they want to imagine the clothes are coming from their idea of a "store" as in a well-lit retail environment, not like the Unabomber's backyard closet.

But I still am not totally convinced it's the best option for selling clothes except to a specific demographic. If they're really AI then you haven't had them for the entire life of your store right?

No, prior to what you currently see I did still have a header, banner and thumbnails but they were generic pictures and texts. And I can see your point regarding the subject matter of the pictures. I was going for a very specific theme/tone with my store when I originally created it. Douglas Firs is the name of tree species, hence the style of the title and the thumbnails, etc. so there was a rhyme and reason behind my decisions. But at the same time you’re correct, I’m not the one ultimately buying the product, so it isn’t all about me. I have to make choices with the customer in mind.
This was some tough love. I am newer to eBay and the person teaching me told me as close to 100% sell thru as possible. I check sell thru on every single item that I buy.

Howcome when i search for solds in my area like you did and look at the tons of vintage stuff sold it says the seller in in Chicago???? I mean i selected 25miles and i live in Las Vegas as well. What i know people are sourcing for at the bins are vintage. But Chicgo is not 25 miles from Loss Wages.
I sell a lot of mall brand jeans (AF, American Eagle, etc.) But i check sell through on every item. I do take some that are lower sell through, but i still get them moved. Sold a pair of American Eagle today for $21 and shipping. Ya gotta check everything if you're a bins picker, like yumbo is saying here.
If you’re complaining about slow sales, probably best avoid American Eagle or at least look up EXACTLY what you have in front of you. Abercrombie actually has a lot of high sell-through mens clothing.

I list 30/day, around 9 mil impressions, 36,000 page views, etc., but I list womens clothes, not mens. I think you list a similar amount, but in a completely different category.

How do you expect the guy to source GOOD STUFF as you put it when Ebay cant even return the proper search results entered? The other day i seached for a shirt and got shorts in my results as well. Aint happin!
What is duck canvas double knee? How many of us know that we should be using those keywords? We dont! And i would never type those words just to find a pair of pants because i wouldnt know any better. So this was really a terrible example.

I have the same size Store and do everything Yumbo says and I do 30 sales per day I list only 30 bangers a day I go to the Bins daily.
