Excellent video! I want this triple album soundtrack, however, with a slight difference. I want the songs in the exact order that they were played in the movie. That means the album would close with that funky mashup of all the songs that played during the end credits!🤣✌️💜
If the preceding 1999 hadn't been a double album, I'm sure Purple Rain would've been a double album like Graffiti Bridge 6 years later. There was no way Warner Brothers were going to put out 2 double albums in a row from Prince.
I think, could be mistaken, that another instrumental would have to be included. You can hear a percussion part being played (Sheila?) when Prince drives off with Apples after the sexshooter scene and Morris being kicked on the ground. Regards from Belgium, Gert
