As a startup founder who gained traction after so many pivots i suggest you to just follow what he said cuz in real world no one cares about your framework just lunch it and see what happens but i found it better trying to work in backwards starting from building distribution channel cuz selling is10x harder than building specially at this moment, but as a SE i don't wanna get into they can able to build fully functional and secured site incrementally or not... but i suggest to suffer now than latter cuz these tools ain't gonna take your interview.... at least understand the basics and some patterns
