This is one beautiful Art studio tour I absolutely love and appreciate it a lot Louise. Your birds study and digital painting are off the hook. Congratulations ❤️ Sister
When you showed your sketchbook I literally thought: "if only one day my sketchbook could look like that!" ... and then you said you did not think it was interesting enough 😅 I guess it's all a matter of perspective 😉 I am currently reading The Laws Guide to Drawing Birds: thank you for the recommendation - it's really helpful and inspiring! 🙌
Haha! That only goes to show: you're never a good judge of your own work. 😂 Thank you. 🙏🖤 And have fun with the book! I should study it more too, there's so much in there that I haven't gotten to yet. 😊
I think you're gallery wall is such a good idea. I think as artists we're often over critical of our own work. Do you find having them on display like this hopefully helps you appreciate them more?
Alltid lika intressant att se hur någon annan organiserar sitt kreativa utrymme, speciellt när man själv försöker få iordning på sin egen röra 😅 Jättefina målningar btw!
...so the chair-box thing you use to do voiceover without echo is called an ottoman. Dick Van Dyke used to trip over one of those while walking into his house in the opening credits of the "Dick Van Dyke Show". This was a fun tour, and it's interesting seeing what's on your desk vs. what's in your top drawers, vs what's in your bottom drawers, vs. what's in your closet. You didn't say anything about selling originals or prints or doing commissions or processing orders, but it looks like more than just a hobby. There's an interesting contrast between the "clothesline of honor" and the "closet dump". A sketchpad tour would be interesting too, especially with any stories behind some of the sketches. I particularly liked your Princess Leia pics.
An ottoman? Thanks! Now I know, the next time I need to mention one. 😂 (I've gotten a better microphone since then, so I don't need the ottoman for recording anymore. Sadly.) Haha, yeah, the closet is where all the ugly and failed stuff goes. The larger part of the iceberg, so to speak... 🙄
Like you art studio! Just discover you and your work is amazing! !! What if you want to focus more to my real brushes and leave my digital brushes away for a bit but you are too shy to make videos? how do you make it work?
What a lovely space…..love the string of artworks, that’s a great idea!
I love your self portrait and your sketckbook too! 😊👍
My favorite is the recording studio. That’s pretty creative

woah! I love the tour and all your wonderful bird pieces! I would love to see a sketchbook tour!
Thank you so much! Better go draw some more in my sketchbook then, so I'll have something to show. 😅
Gotta work with what you have!! I love that part!!
Your studio is so pristine
Loved your tour! Beautiful bird paintings and sketches!
Thank you! 😊

Your sketchbook is VERY interesting
Haha, if you say so. 😂
Yes, clothes line! Makes me feel like I'm on the right track. My clips are actually little birds. :P
Ooooh, I want that too... 😍

Eller hur! Har själv kollat på massvis av andras studio tours. 😅

Du har ett så fint rum. Helt otroligt välorganiserat och rent! :)
Tack! Rent är det nog inte alltid, men gillar ordning och reda. 😌
On your desk what type of sketchbook was that? The one you use every night?
It's a Royal Talens Art Creation sketchbook, in A4 size. 😊
I was wondering where you purchased your watercolor bird book by Karl Martens?

Thank you so much for the link. I've just ordered the book.
