Have "fun" diving into Swans. And yes, I do recommend both To Be Kind and The Glowing Man for *that* era of Swans. Also, I'm glad you enjoyed George Clanton's Slide. I bought Disintegration way back in 2010 and I had one of the bad pressings. I think Rhino/WEA has a return policy on it and I've been meaning to take advantage of it but never got around to it.
Thanks for the heads up on George Clanton, great stuff. Was somewhat familiar with Esprit from all the vaporwave compilations out there but didn't know he'd gone on to bigger and better things.
For people who want to pick up that George Clanton vinyl he just released a repress today on a similar vinyl with a black/blue swirl on his bandcamp page.
Hey sorry for the late reply! I'm glad you liked the Katamari Damacy album, such great music. Thank you so much for the gift you sent me in the mail the other day too! You're a great guy and have such a great channel, can't wait to see what else you put out. Thanks again!
On The Seer, pretty sure that is the dogs butthole on the back. Big Trouble in Little China, along With The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai are such unique movies - I don't things like that will ever be made again.
Great post, as usual. Thank you! The Modern English album is actually After The Snow. Loved it then and now! I always thought Melt With You, though good, was not one of the stronger tracks on the album. Cheers!
Awesome. I'd like to see reviews of Melody's echo chamber, Kurt Vile, Idles, anna von hausswolf, David Byrne and Kamasi Washington new albums this year. Specially Kamasi Washington needs a vinyl geek review!
The fact that most people have only heard of Modern English because of "Melt with you" makes me sad. Its a pretty good song, but they have so much more material people can enjoy and listen to
That s the Modern English i am missing. I have the CD but haven't found that album yet. I have a follow-up album it's pretty good but of course . That's a Cool 80's new wave find.
hi men im Jeshua good video im pretty new to your channel I had seen a lot of your videos not all. have you done a review of the VELVET UNDERGROUND & NICO ?? if not can you do one ?? and if you

Try The Glowing Man from Swans! A triple album as well.
That album had me floating i swear haha. Such a transcendental and epic record
Michael Gira's wife Jennifer really added some fantastic vocals as well.
Nice Swans. Any plans on getting the Soundtracks for the Blind 4xLP set?
Love the Random finds!

I literally just got that reissue of disintegration by the cure. That’s so weird. And so exciting
George Clanton, nice!
