alex63501 Tysm Alex. Can I ask, is your bass a precision or jazz bass?
@@hansolo8573 my current bass is a 5 string Warwick Rock Bass. It has active pickups (MEC brand) which means it uses a 9 volt battery to boost the pickups. Jazz or Precision basses are made by Fender, to the best of my knowledge, although many companies make a "knock off" version. Even though I say knock off, many of these are extremely high quality. It all depends on the company and what you are looking to spend. What instrument do you play? I hope that helps!
alex63501 I recently bought a Squier classic vibe 70s Jazz bass 3 tone, would that be enough to pop and slap well enough to play some of these songs?
For sure! You will have to experiment with strings but I know it will sound great once you get the good stuff on there :)

In your videos can you please put the tuning that you use?
Absolutely! I am always tuned in standard 4 string (E A D G). What is confusing is I play a 5 string bass. The bottom string is a B, however I rarely use that string in my tabs. I know that it is confusing to use a 5 string but it is the only bass I have that works :( But if you wanted to get me a nice 4 string for Christmas I wouldn't stop you ;) I hope this helps, thanks for the support!!!!
Did you use your ring finger to pick the bass?
Yes, when I do the double top octave notes I use my ring finger, then middle finger. My finger pattern is: 1 32 1 32 1 32 etc..
