The historic home tours are my favorite!

Yes, especially when you learn how the family of the home were distance relatives of other famous people!

Walking tours are my favorite. Especially, if you have a guide that is a great storyteller to bring the history of the area to life!

Having a good storyteller makes the tour a thousand times better, that's for sure!

Some of our favorite tours have been the horse and buggy tours of Charleston, chocolate walking tour of Seattle, and segue tour of Amelia Island. Since segue went out of business I want to do another of those before all the segue scooters stop working. And, if you have teens, there is no surer way to irritate them then a 2-3 hour walking tour. 🤣🤣

That's hilarious! I want to do a chocolate tour now...yum!

Excellent video! We are flying into Vancouver, BC in May for an Alaskan cruise. We'll have a couple of days in Vancouver. I've had so much fun researching the city and tours. For the most part, we have always enjoyed our tours and cruise excursions.

That sounds like a fantastic trip! I haven't been to Vancouver yet, but it is on my list of places to visit. Happy planning and enjoy your trip!

I haven't ever done a walking tour or food tour since everywhere I traveled thus far internationally we happened to always have family to give us their versions. However, I would love the food and bike tour the most. Super great ideas!! Random question, is it expected to tip a tour guide? Do you have specific website you place you search for these?

Family can be great tour guides too as they give a personalized experience. But food tours are my favorite since you get to eat a variety of local food dishes. I have used TripAdvisor, Viator, Get Your Guide, as well as Airbnb Experiences for different tours that I have done. I think tipping is a nice gesture, especially if your tour guide went above and beyond. I had one guide offer to take my picture at one for the sites we visited and it ended up being my favorite pic of me from my entire trip. I tipped that guide well lol. Some people choose to tip and some don’t, so it can be a personal choice.
