@@yourf1guy I know, and I think I have written it correct as well. By ‘Charles went out’ I mean he went out in gravel. And it was just turn 3 of the race, then why do you need to pit so early? Aren’t you confident about your strategy you decided before the race?
Russell didn't pit so early. He pit around lap 8-9. And they did so because it was more or less a cheap pit stop. The tyres weren't degrading much in Australia and they have to pit once regardless. So better to do it then so later on they don't have to pit him during the normal race and lose more time. The strategy was right but later on an unexpected red flag ruined it
