An amazing movie and amazing piece of music! I have watched this so many times as the emotions that radiate in the combination of the scene and music is unbelievable!
Only after that... I truly understood what art is... It is a picture. Picture of you, your friends, your ideologies, memories, experiences, hopes and most importantly you. In bigger or smaller part... Before, I just looked at the picure, book movie by what was on it... Now I want to look at the life of the one, who did those. Because here truly lies the inspiration.
All the performances in this movie were superb but Olivia Cooke is amazing in this scene. Simply with facial expressions she shows amusement, love, fear, panic and acceptance. I tear up pretty easily but it's usually a fairly subtle thing. I watched this on a plane and just sobbed uncontrollably at the point he describes her going into a coma and dying. Big ugly tears, chest heaving, the full works. Flight attendant brought me tissues. Should I have been prepared from the title, sure, but didn't he say she didn't die? Anyways, beautiful film, deserved more acclaim but I hope the makers are all very proud of what they made.
Absolutely one of the best movies made. It will forever be in my top 3!!!
Fuck, every single time I watch this, or see 10 seconds of this scene, or hear a little of the song... I cry like a big ole baby. Fuck
It makes you feel even though it breaks you, but at least youre feeling

This scene hits every emotion possible. It's just....real. Not that fake "movie cancer". Like how it would really be. Heart wrenching.
I remember exactly what city I was in and what I was doing when I first saw this. It had an impact on me. Great movie.
