      Agreed, they should but, millions of Indians have walked through this train station area without attempting to clean anything. Gov'ts do a great job hiring cleaners here in the U.S. and keep our cities (except the homeless spots), very clean. Indian gov't can do the same.

    • @MrArtist7777
      @MrArtist7777 5 ปีที่แล้ว +18

      @BatwomanAgreed. Walk the streets of Copenhagen and you'll be lucky to find a single piece of garbage, anywhere. A combination of laws, gov't paid cleaning and self respect for one's land, is the way to keep a city and country clean. India has a LONG way to go, in every aspect.

      The mentality of the future generation, the children that helped out is what CAN and WAS changed.

    • @Shetasen
      @Shetasen 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It takes small steps. By doing the cleanup they already seeded the joy and the connection of a place to the children and students who came to help clean up. They now know what it looks like being clean, they will remember being part of It. Stewardship and volunteerism is something that never goes away and once you find an activity that you like, you end up craving for it and will begin doing individual actions until it spreads. It sounds very idealistic, but it does work. Humans instinctively want greener places, we also naturally desire and need cleaner air, land, water. Government can help speed things up and support it, but it takes the people's desire to actually help to move it forward.

    Half of India's problems can be solved by properly educating our youths.
    Reserve some time for cleaning once a week in schools .( Like NCC , NSS in ARmy Schools , DAVs , Kvs etc )
    Most schools generally have this concept but cleaning is done by students who are dfauters ( Without proper uniform ) and thus it makes students believe that cleaning is a bad job .

    I absolutely loved this! It brings me back to some of the service work that I’ve done over the past three years with Habitat for Humanity. There are some serious problems going on in certain places in the world & some of them go unaddressed. So it’s up to us to call attention to them. Jacob, I’m so proud that you, Andrius, the girls & the rest of the group went out of your way to make a difference. I hope to see a lot more of these videos in the future. I wish I was there to help you guys out. Also, it was cool seeing my boy, Vishal Ahuja, from 3:04-3:06 😎.

      Hii Bro, Ryan.
      I really enjoyed myself travelling with Jacob and Andrius.
      And felt great to join the cleaning campaign.
      P.S:- When I came in the video I was tasting the sweets.😅😅. The Shop was just amazing and was filled with different varieties of sweets etc., Which we all liked very much.

    On TH-cam and the internet in general I see a lot of people who will go to an area with all the tools and equipment and clean up 100% of the trash and I think that kind of deters people from trying to do the same because they think they need all the equipment, these people pushed through that and even though they didn’t get 100% of the trash they still made an enormous difference and that’s what we need more of, even the smallest amount of clean up can be the biggest change, good job your an amazing person 👍🏻

    it's so good to watch this kind of video because we can see the cooperation of every individual even the kids and it's so great that you Jacob initiate this kind of movement if they will continue doing that even you're not in India anymore I'm sure that India or at least that station will be a lot better than before, and its not just for the environment too, it's for their health too, if they have that kind of place where there's a lot of trash everywhere they will tend to have this sickness because of the dirty environment. kudos to you Jacob and the two other Indian girls and your camera man too😅 I'm sure he gets really tired because of the filming thing and cleaning too😊😂
