@@ETMotorsports just realized you're not crazy far from me. Im just northwest of toronto. I would venture into the fiat just because the motor itself is on the steering column and the rack is manual so it gives more room in the engine bay. Dealing with canbus sucks lol. Waiting to see what you come up with though. Keep the projects rolling bruv!
Huge coincidence actually. My buddy that owns a fiat 500 just pulled in my shop! It is manual rack with the electric motor right on the steering column!

Alright buddy, bit confused and need a little help so the car came with the petrol engine orginally and now youre swapping in a diesel. How did you go about fuel lines pump and the fuel tank neck filler hole size? i want to stick a 606 in my current 190e which has a 2L petrol engine.

Those aren't om602 engine mounts, number series start 103.... that means those are from m103 engine. I tried to put om606 in w124 with om601 mounts but engine didn't fit. Om601/602 are same mounts.
Hey pretty much any mercedes can be made to work wth the motor... the easiest swaps are in w124 units but the motor will fit in anything from Unimog to G class

I would go electric steering rack so u can get rid of that pump and run that radiator
