After reading the manga, i pray for the anime studio to stretch things out with relationships like this one, zenitsu and nezuko and possibly that inosuke and aoi. I really loved them

They speak a bit like it were just a normal chat, then Tanjiro leaves her for us to assume at some point they meet again. Why the proposal (which I assume is the follow your heart one) was a thing, it started the relationship and made me think that these two had it together. Only for me to realize right at the end, “oh yeah, they’re a thing too.” If you don’t agree with me, then that is alright.

In the tweet, it says that the shiba inu describes how Kanao follows orders like a loyal dog and the lily of the valley describes her flower breath style. ... Well I agree about the dog part, but the lily of the valley part. Well, there's more to it that describes Kanao more, other than her breath style. The lily of the valley is the May birth flower. And when is Kanao's birthday? Her birthday is May 19 and also In Victorian times, lily of the valley meant a “return to happiness.” When Tanjiro flipped the coin, he gave her the push to made decisions on her own and expressed herself. We also see that development will lead to Kanao becoming truly happy again. Demon Slayer is not a *romance* anime, all of the characters were focus on defeating Muzan. That's why there's no romance interactions, but pure moments that will make the fans question. Tanjiro and Kanao did have a development in the manga. They were friends and allies who are focused on defeating Muzan, that's why there's no romance in there. Just pure and innocent interactions that will be something more in the future. So, I'm not surprised that they'll become much closer and become a couple after Muzan was defeated. Tanjiro and Kanao were already obvious (and also planned by the author of the manga), there are hints and moments in the manga that these two would be together. And the one that I stated right now is one of those hints. Even Zenitsu and Nezuko have hints. Like what happened to Tanjiro. Nezuko was asked what type of guy she likes, it was Takeo who asked Nezuko that question and she answered it. And her answer is someone who is like a Hisha. A shogi piece that can move both vertically and horizontally. And who can move like that? Well, it's obvious! It's Zenitsu when he uses his first form like that.😂😂😂 Also, if you read the Kimetsu no yaiba light novel. You can see more of the characters' development like Kanao and Genya's. Also, in some chapter, the light novel really describes Kanao's feelings to Tanjiro. The light novel is canon (Written by the owner if kimetsu no yaiba with the help of their worker) and it even explains why both Kanao and Inosuke's interaction through out the battle, also it shows why Inosuke cares for Shinobu and the pinky promise. I think the chapter title of that light novel is "The Flower and The Beast.", also it's volume two. Sometimes I'm surprised that no one mentions the light novel. In volume 1, in one of the chapter. When Tanjiro tried to offer Kanao some treats, she became nervous and hid behind Shinobu. Then, there would be some chapters about Kimetsu Gakuen too. In a chapter that I love and couldn't stop on laughing. I think that chapter is connected with one of the extra comic strip in the manga were Tanjiro, Inosuke and Zenitsu form a band with Uzui. Howthe fact if they play, those who will listen will kinda suffer. That chapter was hilarious hahahaha.😂 Then, there's the fact that Kimetsu Gakuen Shinobu mentions about Kimetsu no Gakuen Kanao's feelings for Kimetsu no Gakuen Tanjiro. Well, that's everything that I wanted to say...
For me, I felt she's gonna have a big part in the story at her first appearance during the final selection. I knew she was gonna be Tanjirou's love interest when she kicked him on the head after the Mt. Natagumo arc. The coin toss moment was what stamped everything in place. ❤
They both are MADE for each other 2 reasons from me, 1 is that they both have lost vision in their right eye and 2 is Kanao uses flower breathing and tanjiro uses water and sun, so Flowers need sun and water to survive and live... perfect match!

It’s funny how the girls have the signature move of the high kick. First we see nezuko doing it both in the anime and the kepputan game, but also Kanao now doing it! Overall it was great to see their relationship! And I’m happy for season 2 and all this footage from the manga into anime animation!
