Jess: “That’s how the shenanigans start! You go on a shortcut. You find something unusual. And then you like push a button that you’re not supposed to, and then you’re in the sh*t. You know what I mean?” Me: “She can see things before they happen. It’s a Jedi trait.”
13:37 Sesska predicts the entire premise of the show.😅 16:48 Yup. Star Wars Holiday Special reference.😂 The Goonies feel is deliberate. After everyone was cast, John Watts sat the whole cast down and they all watched Goonies together. Watts also consulted with Goonies director Richard Donner. And, yeah, there's some seriously dystopian vibes going down on At-Attin.
The hologram was indeed a reference to the Holiday Special. As most of the original work was destroyed, they completely remade it, this meant they had to recreate the costumes, re-choreograph the dance and rearrange the music with only the on-screen footage of the original to go off.
There is definitely something going on underneath the utopian veneer of At Attin. Regardless, watching Neel and Wim acting out a lightsaber fight brings back some childhood memories.
I’ve been looking forward to your reactions to this Jess. I had a feeling this show would be right up your alley. It’s so good to see you back. Also just as an FYI, this takes place after Mandalorian season three.
I do know that they confirmed this takes place around the time of the Mandolorian and will tie into that stuff which is why Vayne and the pirates are in this. I just don't know if this is before or after we saw the Star Wars version of Davey Jones lol.
Feels like most everyone’s loving him the most of the core quartet. He is a lovable sort. Of the group, I’m liking KB the most myself, but Neel is an adorable and fun one.
I think you're wonderful. Your reactions are always so positive. Know that you are in my prayers and if there's ever anything I can do for you, please let me know. Take your time when you need to for yourself. You will still be here and I will always support you on Patreon
The Great Work is 100% from the High Republic. Lina Soh who was their leader created "Many Great Works" and they are isolated, call it the Republic still and that mural on his wall looks like it could be Lina Soh on it.
That's not a spoiler. I just think that's whats up with that planet. Like you I think there is some kind of "fuckery" going on with it still. Like why did they essentially hide that planet and what are they doing on it?

I was dying laughing!!
@@pemberliegh IKR? She just basically summarized the episode. 😂
😅 Right?
@@timothybruce4638 Jess is a jedi confirmed??
@@pemberliegh I mean, to be fair, growing up in the 80s, that was the basic motif in a lot of shows and movies 😆
Before I click Play, I'm making the prediction now that Jess's favorite character on this show will be Neel.
He's the best character in all Star Wars! Aside from Chopper of course!
If anything happens to Neel, we riot.
@@stevenmcmullan409here here! 🙂

Also-- 5:28 Yes! That was Vane from Mandalorian season 3!

The creators actually recreated the circus from the Holiday Special.

I love how you predicted what would happen perfectly. Also Neil is adorable and a whole mood.
"And what am I gonna do about this? A big red button nobody's ever supposed to touch!"
This series has such a fun and exiting vibe with fun characters. I loved you reaction as always!
The button that does more than make the ship take off and hit hyperspace. It also makes Jess say "Oh shit!"

No, Lord Helmet! I didn't see you playing with your dolls again!
Welcome back, Jess! I am absolutely loving this show so far.

The show runners said this is after Mando s3.
Neel must be protected at all costs!!

I agree. Protect him at all costs!
@13:26 This is why we love Jess.
This feels like Goonies in Space! I can’t remember the last movie or show that had this kind of vibe
Star Trek: Prodigy maybe.
@@dvader518 Prodigy was great. Apart from that engineer fella who was annoying.
@shugaroony Jankom Pog thinks that Jankom Pog isn't annoying.
Hey :) SO, good to see you back ! Great video:)
omg, new sesska reaction just dropped

I'm always here for your starwars reactions
I’ve really missed Star Wars Tuesdays
Wow you really called this one, huh?
I have to watch this later but glad you’re reacting to it!
Now that I’m here watching, I’m wondering about that reaction when the button shows up!

Yey!!
LFG!!;
Spent 90% of the video looking at her and not the show
First ;)
no one cares, no one cares bro.
@baz8526 yet you too the time to write a comment:))
What did you win?
I'm sorry but I've never liked this sesska girl. She has always got on my darn nerves.
You get on my nerves, but thanks for commenting! It only helps her on the algorithm.
I get you, OP. If only she didn’t have a gun to our head, forcing us to watch her videos, right?

Did your “nerve” make you come here and state that out loud???😂😂😂 byeeeeee.
Weirdo.
Favorite show already! Love to see you watching this. Do you do this full time!
