    At 30 years old, I feel I have discovered the key to an easy life. EVERYTHING ON WHEELS!
    Kitchen island, storage shelves, toolboxes, shop tools, outboard sidecars, instrument cases, amps, etc.
    Triad Orbit equipment definitely helps with that. They actually teamed up with 9.Solutions to use their clamps..
    The commercial film industry and the music industry need to talk more. There is so much grip gear already on the market that music studios should be using to mount mics and whatnot.

    Your studio run through are so funking cool , love the no wires on the floor and mic placement doesn’t move that was cool. I personally like having a clean work space when jamming specially when others are over. Don’t know how others can stand clutter. 10/10 with your studio. And your drums like I said before are beautiful. Kinda like an orange version of my drums haha 🤘

    I strongly disagree Andrew...Triad Orbit is VERY SEXY, hahahah. It really has changed my studio life. Piano recording has become a joy since I got their stands! Interesting & timely video for me. I'm in a very similar situation to you with amps, keyboards, mixing desk, acoustics all in one room that is probably smaller than yours. Floor space is very important! I was looking at the K&M 25995 Table/Floor stand for use with speaker cabs. Thinking I could slide the base under the cab to save space. I have also looked at the Triad Orbit stuff. Not sure how much guitar tracking you have done using the mic clamp on the speaker cabinet but interested to know if there are any issues with vibration transfer to the mic using that mounting method. That's been my main concern going the lip clamp route.

    • @arianamastersofficial

Thanks for your big efforts showing your world, I am building now a nice home studio, and you are such a reference to me. All the best from Madrid, Spain. One question, how many square meters do you have in your main room? Thanks! Another one, which kind of shelves do you use? love them!

  • @OneRiverMedia
    @OneRiverMedia 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

    At 8:00 you show how it could be used as a Decca Tree setup but I’d be curious how much weight it can hold as an actual Decca Tree setup, where each of the three mic arms (not the main boom from the stand) are ideally about six feet long each from the T-split mid point. I didn’t want to pay $1500-$3000 on just the tree section for a “real” tree, so I built an adjustable one myself a while back using light stand components that hold/withstand the weight and length of each arm. But a nice solution/option if the Triad Orbit system can safely hold the weight of a properly triangulated tree!

    Triad Orbit is great but expensive as hell. It costs at least 3-10 times more. Some stuff is more for millionaires than normal musicians. :) How much are your stands all together? Ah, I see, 2000 Dollars just for stands.

    • @AndrewMasters
      @AndrewMasters  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      Totally, not all equipment is designed for hobbyist musicians, or someone who has no budget. This video and most of my videos are for people who do this work professionally and have their business built around a great facility that can work fast. If you aspire to something like this, it’s nice to see some real world application. I certainly don’t limit myself, work and videos to the idea is this the cheapest thing that could be used, but rather does this bring real world value to me, my clients, viewers, and my partners.

    • @PappaBear_yt
      @PappaBear_yt 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      Well, I could be wrong, but sometimes it's better to pay more and get robust, heavy-duty equipment. Personally, this is beyond my budget and I only have one mic stand which served me well for years, but the moment it broke I knew why it was so cheap when I bought it new (around 20$, some 15 yrs ago).
      If I was a pro, I wouldn't think twice.

      Of course it is ok for you to show what is possible. But you can spend your money only one time. And even professional studios don't have big budgets anymore.
      Don't get me wrong: I also own one thing from this company. Because no other company had the same product. But I always try to find a good solution that works but does not kill the bank account.
      Anyway: thanks for showing what's possible if you don't have a tight budget. @@AndrewMasters
