Great job Thomas. I do like the tigercats as we run them in the north here in British Columbia Canada. Motors seem to last longer and all the pins and bushings. I did run 748s for 13 yrs and do understand them all. You are doing a great job with videos would like to see more drone shots of the machines like you had in this one. Craig
That thing is a straight DEMON now lol! We decided after tinkering with a few L2s we were sticking With the tigercat machines. Got a 630h coming my way sometime this month

Tigercat in my opinion is best way all around hydraulic systems are very strong comfortable machines most important comfortable operater means better production.
How’s that skidder doing with the extra hp? Does it still run as cool as it did before? I know someone who done some work to one but it would keep getting hot on long skids.
They still have the Perkins engine I know. Hopefully they made the transmission better then the D model skidders. I’ve replaced my fair share with the coupler sounding like it’s bout to give up
tigercat is the only way to go they are not the comfiest machines in the world but they dam sure are the strongest and tigercat sells the biggest skidder in the world it has a 12 ft wide grapple i have a couple 635H and they just don't stop same with there bunchers but i live in Maine so we don't haul tiny hitches we can haul 100,000 pounds on the road we can almost fit an entire truck load in one hitch. john deere is really just john queer i like a machine that doesn't fall apart
He can change the grapple all he has to do is find a burnt skitter and if it has a 19 foot grapple on it get it and put it on the 620 Tiger cat and it will pull right with that 748 guarantee you

Tigercat was on top of the skidder game for a while until 2015 when Deere released the L. The L Deere turned them from Tigercats to Tabbykittens!

Nice but I do Selective cutting so need a smaller Skidder. Right now I run A 440A John Deere cabled Skidder 1967 . Like to find a 440 grapple skidder

Everything needs more power! Check W&W Tractor and see if they have a grapple from a burned out 630 the load that power down!

Now your cutter a n can build one size drag and let the 748 double up. Nothing like lashing down on big horse power
