Be aware that for the Compilot II signal (music, phone call, etc.) to reach your hearing aids, the black rubberized necklace must be worn around your neck as it is actually the aerial that transmits the electrical signal from your phone to the aids.
Hi Suz! Yes, this product requires a person to wear Phonak hearing aids. The TV Link when connected with the TV, streams the audio signal to ComPilot, then the signal gets transmitted to the hearing aids.
My copilot worked perfectly with my tv, which had cable service. We now 'cut the cord' with our provider and are watching tv over the air. I cannot get my Compilot to work. I have tried attaching it various way and then pairing it to the base. I have a solid blue light on both the base station and the Compilot but not sound. My husband wonders if having additional speakers is part of the problem? We are connecting directly to a samsung smart tv which worked fine before.

i have mine plugged into headphone jack,then i check the headphone volume on the tv seperate from tv volume

When the TV link is plugged in I suspect it cuts of the TV's own speakers So others hear nothing ?
You can set the TV volume to zero but you have perfect sound in your ears
The volume can be set for others to hear; if too loud for you, adjust the com pilot volume.
to use for others, you need external speaker, and a plug with double exit. One to audiobox one to compilot. Only this way can work

the blue light won't turn on my neck piece, only flashing green. the tv piece only flashing blue. any ideas? i'v unpluggwed all and restarted.

Oh no, I was asking how to listen to U-Tube. But I figured it out! TY you have to plug the ear buds charger to WiFi box. Then it all works!
