This is an interesting series and I'm enjoying the build process, not just because I'm a Mopar fan. Do you plan on weighing the new cross member compared to the old K-frame etc.?

Won’t the oil pump pickup prevent you from removing the oil pan after everything is assembled? If so, it might not be worth clearancing the crossmember.

Yeah we decided not to clearance the crossmember more.

You know Levi, you can pickle those parts yourself..just throw them in a pan w/ white vinegar overnight...the millscale will come right off.
