Wine Concentrate from Medd Grapes, why bother with water? The Mis-behaving Dog Contest had me howling. and now I want some Sheridan's That was a Very Clever Ad campaign
Bill Treacher pops up again! He appeared in an advert for the 1973 Austin Allegro. I think he was in a well known BBC TV programme too.... 🤔 The 1990s Sheridan and Tennents Pilsner adverts were quite clever. Never liked the taste of Carling lager much when I started going out drinking.
Clausthaller, brewed according to regulations? Which regulations? Never mind all that! Clausthaller "brewed to fit in a glass". Clausthaller "Liquid at room temperature". Stuff that, if you need me I'll be drinking wine out a box in my garden shed. This compilation was simply delightful!
ah, Fried-A morning, by this end of the week your ^A^ is Fried. mornings are all about coffee canna and comedy, so why not booze it up, it's President's Day Weekend, Moanday Bank Holiday, so here now, get some giggles and the coffee and canna will kick in just fine. Thanks for Starting the Long Weekend Off Right !!
The Sheridan ads were fun - played well to the product's USP. Clever, and I don't think I'd ever seen them before. The Vostok advert was a bit weird, though. Since, unless it's a really decent one, vodka tastes of more or less nothing, I always thought of vodka as mixing with absolutely anything, and not a spirit that needed a specially-considered mixer made for it. Odd.
The Tenants ad with the late Gary Holton. Most famous for playing Wayne in Auf Wiedersehen, Pet, of course.
00:41 good old Arthur Fowler
Love your videos! So comforting and nostalgic. Thank you 🙏🏻
Ah, the Chas and Dave Rabbit Rabbit Rabbit Rabbit ad; that's one of the classics
9:09 Awesome Guinness Beer TV Spot. Thanks Mate. X

Bill Treacher has turned up in quite a few old adverts I've used in these compilations. Must have had a prolific advertising career before Eastenders.
Home Wine 🍷 concentrates? Like orange squash then, just add water? That sounds like an idea just waiting for its time to come 🤔

Marketing magic.
@@RetroSteveUK You spelled "bullshit" wrong... 😉
@@El-Ritmo 🤣
Is that what’d happen to me after drinking Babycham?
Probably not .. I remember it being a bit weak. 🍸
Do anyone know why carling black label changed it's name to just carling ?
Easier to market in adverts, I'd guess - a more snappy name.
I never liked the taste of Carling.
