As a child, around the age of 6-8, I played Stick War and Age of War in the schools computer rooms during the hot summer days with the AC’s keeping us cool, as we played on the flash games our mates gave to us on thumb drives on the Windows XP computers. Looking back at those times now as a man turning 20 in a few days, I listen to this and it gives me a very hopeful glimpse into what the future has in store for me and my own journey as a musician. God the memories of Stick War and listening to the first Field of Memories was great. This has the feel of the heroes either having backup from the older generation or they gain powers from the past to help them on their journey.
This is absolutely soaring and gorgeous, it's the kind of music that would go perfectly to a cinematically shot montage of seemingly infinite, beautiful landscapes, that's the kind of vibes it gives me at least. It just sounds so grandiose and large-scale to me, truly feels like you're flying through dare I say, _a field of memories._

A classic song, now with a light touch of modernity. Makes my mind drift away to a different world and rekindle long forgotten memories of a distant past, grouping them altogether on a giant field. I can hear someone by the distance saying lines somewhat similar to "attack", "defend" and "man the fort". I like to call this little world of mine "Inamorta".

Very few artists have the ability to repeatedly make good songs for a few years, let alone for over a decade, with multiple sequels to tracks being absolutely fire most of the time. Waterflame is one of those few artists who are severely underappreciated and deserve FAR more recognition than they currently have. It is absolutely incredible how such an artist has consistently made INCREDIBLE songs of various genres for well over a deceade. Songs that stand the test of time. Songs that can move us, make us feel happy, excited or ambitious.

I wanted to thank you for making Field of Memories. Gaming was a big part of my childhood and so were stickman animations and games, and when I reached THAT level of Stick War, it was like, wow. This song is incredible. When I was 6 years old I couldn't understand how incredible the song was because I was extremely focused on winning haha, but now with 17 years it just makes me cry. I love this track with all my heart, it feels both hopeless and hopeful, all the enemy kingdoms teaming up just to fight you, their differences matter no more, as they must defeat you. It starts off like the original, but then it becomes almost majestic as these kingdoms band together, basically doing what you aimed to, just to kill you.
Hey flamewater, I'm making a story for this. I guess it's a way for me to get a comment, lol As you walk through the field your town once rested on, you remember all the memories that you once had, running around playing games with the other children, causing a little bit of mischief among the citizens but most importantly the friends you have made over the years in this town. The city was abandoned and withered away from natural weather, leaving sticks of wood where the house once stood, it brings a feeling of rejuvenation and the satisfaction of your journey along the way. There still is more to go, but it feels nice to know that your town rests in a field of memories.

Very few artists have the ability to repeatedly make good songs for a few years, let alone for over a decade, with multiple sequels to tracks being absolutely fire most of the time. Waterflame is one of those few artists who are severely underappreciated and deserve FAR more recognition than they currently have.
It is absolutely incredible how such an artist has consistently made INCREDIBLE songs of various genres for well over a deceade. Songs that stand the test of time. Songs that can move us, make us feel happy, excited or ambitious.
Absolutely Beautiful. I never had a doubt in my mind if there was ever an remaster, Especially for this one! that it would not disappoint. You made so many people happy with this remaster that are not only stick war fans but Waterflame fans, including from all the flash games, projects, and animations over the years. I wanted to thank you for making Field of Memories. Gaming was a big part of my childhood and so were stickman animations and games, and when I reached THAT level of Stick War, it was like, wow. This song is incredible. When I was 6 years old I couldn't understand how incredible the song was because I was extremely focused on winning haha, but now with 17 years it just makes me cry. Thank you Waterflame for making so many amazing songs. :)
I originally heard this song in Stick Wars, and years later I found your channel and heard your amazing music. Your pieces are amazing and this brings me back, well done!

I love the fact that you called field of memories a tribute to good childhood memories but started it off with an explosion (thunder) followed up by, probably, the most melancholic action theme to ever exist... only for that song to be used in a game with a quite grim style and outlook on war.

I love this track with all my heart, it feels both hopeless and hopeful, all the enemy kingdoms teaming up just to fight you, their differences matter no more, as they must defeat you. It starts off like the original, but then it becomes almost majestic as these kingdoms band together, basically doing what you aimed to, just to kill you.

As you walk through the field your town once rested on, you remember all the memories that you once had, running around playing games with the other children, causing a little bit of mischief among the citizens but most importantly the friends you have made over the years in this town. The city was abandoned and withered away from natural weather, leaving sticks of wood where the house once stood, it brings a feeling of rejuvenation and the satisfaction of your journey along the way. There still is more to go, but it feels nice to know that your town rests in a field of memories.
This is good… but the OG will always feel the best and nostalgic.
