Yorkshire is looking so cozy and beautiful even on a non- sunny day! Wow Heptonstall has such tiny streets! It's a very cute tea room over there! Thanks for this tour, can't wait to explore the north of England!
Definitely explore the north! The food in the tearoom is supposedly really good too, although we haven't tried it ourselves. Thanks for watching, I hope you enjoyed this peek at a small part of Yorkshire! 🙂
Hey guys, there is so much history packed into this video, well done 👏 I would enjoy the views of the valley and the hikes, even though they are quite steep.
Lovely video of the area. Have visited many times over the years. Great chip shop there too, and as you say, Vocation is a must. CN highly recommend the Hare and Hounds pub which is situated just above Hebden Bridge, and was shown on your map.
oo I don't think I've tried the Hare and Hounds pub before, we'll have to try it on a future visit. There's a few more walks around the area we would like to do so good to line up some more post-walk pub options - thanks for the recommendation! Is the chip shop Crown Fisheries? Thanks for watching, I'm glad you enjoyed it 😄
@@OurTravelPlace It is Crown Fisheries, yes. I've heard Hardcastle Crags is great for a walk, but never been. I've walked it from home twice (22 miles), so I'm only fit for a chippy dinner, and a few drinks in Vocation, before the train home.
22 miles, that's an impressive walk! Oo yes Hardcastle Crags is a good shout. Someone we got chatting to in Hebden Bridge also recommended a Stoodley Pike walk. So many options, I'm itching to get back out there already! 😄
@@OurTravelPlace I've done Stoodley Pike from the White House pub above Little borough, which is 5 miles either way. Never attempted from Hebden side though.
I went to Buxton a few months back. I had to change train at Hebden Bridge and so I have been meaning to visit here. Having watched your video I will now be booking my train ticket shortly.
Sooo charming!! Aw, my mom’s there as we speak so it’s nice to picture the town more right now 🥰 love the canal that runs through the middle of town and the market looks lovely. I totally would have bought one of those bookmarks. Beautiful cinema. Do you know if it’s nicely preserved on the inside as well? 🙂
Aw glad to share a bit of where your mum is! I would like to follow to canal to the next town over one day. Not sure about inside the cinema... if you like old cinemas, while I was at uni (another part of Yorkshire) we lived up the road from one that was gas lit! Such a lovely old cinema 😍
I wouldn't be doing my job properly if I didn't mention that there are 2 buses from Hebden Bridge to Heptonstall every hour from early til late 7 days a week. Cars and on foot aren't the only options! 😊

*Edit: I'm sorry, Hebden Water runs through Hebden Bridge, not Hebden Beck. It looks like it may be mislabelled on Google Maps.*
So much information and such pretty places. Thank you for sharing.
Oh yes, very pretty! Thanks for watching 🙂

Thanks for the info Yorkshire Bus Guy! 👏🙂
If you would like to visit Heptonstall but either can't or don't want to walk there then there is a regular bus service going there.
Thanks for the information 🙂
