I've just finished my virtual speaking test, and also I recorded it to re watch it again and I noticed that the examiner asked what my favorite food was but I heard "What is your favorite PHOTO" and I gave a different answer :(
I could say that my teacher's microphone wasn't working well and there was a little noise in my house so I couldn't listen clearly, but I gave an extended answer using a useful connector "Nowadays...". Anyways, did my score go down because of that or not?

It's hard to say. Often, the examiners are quite flexible and sympathetic to one or two misunderstandings. However, if there are too many, the examiner will interpret it as poor interactive communication and the candidate will lose marks.
