I hunt and fish in the USA, it helps put meat on the table. I was working as a equipment operator at a major metropolitan Zoo, sadly our African elephant died and I had to bury it with a backhoe, they are huge. I have never hunted Africa and probably never will thanks for sharing your adventure 👍
Many commenting have no clue. Thanks to hunting tha Botswana elephant population has grown from 20000 to over 100000. What you don't see is locals harvesting everything. What little is left is cleaned up by scavengers. Also part of the trophy fee goes to the locals
Ok, I understand why…yet the elephant’s tail and leg is still moving around while they are standing there laughing and cheering. What I learned from my Italian ancestors who killed their own meat, is you NEVER let an animal suffer. You make SURE it is dead IMMEDIATELY. This comes from the generational wisdom from different cultures. Standing there giving pats on the back before the job is done is inhumane and psychopathic. This is the final respect you can pay to such a beautiful, majestic creature.
@@Michelroedeerhunter it doesn't help the population , only in imaginary bounds of human society maybe but elephants themselfs gain nothing from getting killed
@@majesticrenegade He's right...because it's really "DEPRESSING AND CRUEL" to see 6:15 that wannabe Hunters have only spend enough Money to do this without skills!!!
