Finally! I've been waiting for you guys to get around to this one! She is soo talented. I really want to encourage you to watch all the girls pre-debut intros and if not all of last evaluation then at least the performances. Catching up on all that is only like 2 and half hours of content and I guarantee you each member will surprise you with their talent and personalities. Esp seeing Rami's first audition to a year of training, to two years etc is kinda mind blowing. (Also, I just realized Handsome is Han-c and D'some lol)
By far the best vocalist of 5th gen, no one even comes close to her level of vocal skills in 5th gen. In fact she is the only vocalist among both 4th & 5th gen with the potential to become one of the top tier vocalists of k-pop alongside Wendy, solar, IU, Taeyeon, suhyun & a few others.
Can you react to Rami’s cover of “Pick up your feeling “?🤣She sang that song before her debut and recently she sang it again in their first world tour in Seoul !!!! It’s a hard song to sing. It’s stunning that when she sing live the voices were so stable , she’s literally a vocal monster 💀😈💀

I hope that will change and she will get much more support in the near future. I feel like she was a bit downplayed in the pre-debut period, while some other members were given a lot more positive spotlight. Other than the "Pick Up Your Feelings" performance, her excellent performances and leadership qualities were almost never highlighted or spoken about (even though they could be seen by people paying close attention). So the members who were given more spotlight had bigger bias/solo fandoms when the group debuted. People are just discovering in recent months about Rami's fun personality, her ability to quickly develop and master diverse skills and how much more amazing her vocal abilities are than what was indicated in the pre-debut promotions. In the pre-debut period, it seemed like they mostly wanted people to think of her as the member who cries a lot (which is also kind of misleading, because in reality she actually seems to be one of the strongest members who can usually control her emotions very well...and only allows herself to get emotional when she knows it won't cause problems for her and the group's performance).
Rami's voice is heavenly beautiful, She's super talented yet she's so underrated. her control is amazing and her vocal technique is outstanding. I hope she gets the recognition and intention she deserves.
Babymonster's K-line are all pure Korean, born - grow - learn - living in S.Korea They were training at YG academy and local famous art school. Talk about language expertise, all members are also kind of pronounce any language of songs they sang precisely. They practiced very hard on this since younger.
I not a singer and there is nothing that qualifies me to judge but I know when I hear greatness and in my opinion, she is the best vocalist in the group (which says a lot considering there are 7 really good vocalists in Babymonster) and one of the best I've heard in 5th gen Kpop.

I love how Rami found her tone, and while it is not really main-stream to kpop vocalists now adays, I like where she is going and adventuring. At her age, it will be an amazing journey to see how she grows even more. Stay happy and healthy Rami! I feel like within Babymonster, there are two vocalists that has shown they can pull off the Soul R&B Genre, that is Rami of course and then Rora was slightly shown in pre-debut stuff. I hope that Rora can do something like this show on her own. Really curious to see how she sounds when unleashed from her normal pop vocals in the BM albums.
It would be great to see Rami and Rora go on Begin Again together (the way that Ahyeon and Pharita did). I know that they had the opportunity to do "Running Man"...but that's not a good show for showcasing vocal abilities...and the Running Man show is kind of chaotic. I guess during the tour they'll be too busy, but maybe later this year Rora and Rami will get more opportunities to do shows that put the spotlight on their vocals. Chiquita, Asa and Ruka also should be getting some opportunities like that in the near future.

Rami has by far the widest range along with the most agility in BM. Ahyeon's vocal skills & supported range are not on rami's level. Ahyeon has the potential to have the widest range but her support is very poor, her supported range using chest voice is equal to rora in the upper register while smaller in the lower register, she is very shaky with her lower register. While in upper range, if she crosses her supported range, you would see that it gets off-pitch/shaky. Mainly due to her just muscling through the notes without proper technique, but she has become more refined than before & has a lot more control, but needs more consistency. She's excellent at belting & her falsettos are fairly clean & stable. As she's given the responsibility of a main vocalist, she has a lot more improvement to do, especially in her techniques, breath control & stability. If she's unstable live/under pressure or often gets off-pitched, it gives the haters an excuse to criticize BM by pointing the finger towards the main vocalist. I want her to get a bit less excited on stage & just focus more on technique & stability. You can see that the other vocalists are rarely off-pitch/unstable. Throughout the whole concert, ahyeon's vocal performance was the poorest in comparison to other vocalists of BM, despite her being the main vocalist, and she shouts a lot which can be problematic for a vocalist & can lead to frequent voice crack & breathing issues. For example, Rami uses high notes, falsettos, lower deep tones, often changes melodies & sings runs, riffs & vibratos during the concert almost flawlessly & she seems very comfortable, confident & relaxed while doing so & also has fun on stage. But every time it's ahyeon's turn to sing the notes, even me as an audience, I get anxiety by just watching her tense up & straining due to cracks/being out of breath. She needs to learn how to control herself & her breath during performances, if she was a rapper, then she would've had no issues but as a vocalist more so as a main vocalist, it can be problematic. I have lost count of how many contents I've seen online where they are criticizing BM by showing ahyeon's different short clips taken out of context. And the narrative that she only screams also became more prevalent due to these issues. I know how good of a vocalist she is when she is in control as I have seen all of her performances since pre-debut, but most people don't know that, nor do they care, they would evaluate & criticize her based on her worst ones & the moments where she couldn't deliver.

Being used for high notes while not being fully stable in chest & lower range isn't the way to become a qualified main vocalist for a group like BM. Most people don't even understand these aspects of vocals, while being able to sing high notes is impressive, but if you're that unstable & shaky while singing in chest/lower range, for songs like love in my heart, really like you, sitm, dream & other similar songs, your position as a main vocalist will be questioned. Most People only appreciate singers who sound good & are pleasant to the ears in reality. Ahyeon feels the most comfortable when she is singing high notes & using her upper register but tends to become shaky & unstable while using her soft middle & lower register. If you look at her vocal performances for songs like love in my heart, really like you, sitm & dream in the concert, you would realize her issues. I'm not saying anything against her high notes, and it's amazing that she is getting better & better with the techniques to perform those high notes live, but her main problem is instability & breath control issues while using her soft middle & lower range under pressure.
