- The Banshee Cup is a Heroes of the Storm tournament with $2500 prizemoney! It is sponsored by psykiv/Kevin and named after his favorite hero Sylvanas, the Banshee Queen! 😁 The teams for Season 2 were decided through a captain's draft. Player signed up individually (not as part of a team) and after the registration closed, the players voted on 8 captains. These captains then proceeded to draft their teams from the pool of signed up players.
The first phase of the tournament is a full round-robin, where over the course of 7 Playdays the teams face off against each other to determine the seeding for the next phase of the event. Season 1 of the Banshee Cup introduced the bounty concept and with this season we're further developing the concept. The prize-pool is split into two parts: $1500 that will be shared amonst the Top 3 teams and $1000 that are set aside for a bounty pool. Teams can complete bounties and at the end of the tournament the $1000 will be shared accordingly between the teams, depending on the amount of bounties they completed over the course of the tournament.

Well that was pretty fun to watch. So rarely get to see Valeera played and having impact, so this was a treat.
She was a good choice there. Into junkrat can be a little annoying but she does great at blowing people up with varian and rehgar and locking tracer down.

@@lukedixon2938 also the ability to go stealth on command not being abused is a thing. He could just go in, stealth and silence in case of people revealing her. Also he didn’t use combo points as often, reason why he didn’t get the kills early game
She is bad. this isn't some HeroLeague fiesta, this is competitive play. In this environment Valeera is trash tier (and has been for years)

I've been waiting for years at least five or six. Maybe longer. I don't know. I've been with khaldor for forever but it finally happened. Valeera. Now do yourself a favor and rewatch this game and watch Valera the entire time. She actually has way more of an impact than the announcer gives her credit for many times. She is setting up every single kill with heroes like tracer. I mean it completely and I mean completely, hard counters her, she is supposed to be a dive hero, however she can't do that out of fear of being silenced and basically being a walking toothpick. Also hogger always feels safe with his escape buttons. However, watch this game and you will see her solo him basically and semi-solo him a few other times. Their tank his escape button to teleport back to his sword gone totally gone. Removing his maneuverability basically making him a s*** arthas (who is the other slept on hero in this game an amazing off-laner!) anyway, I am a Valera and arthas main and people are always surprised when I pick them, especially her. I don't know how many times I've completely changed everybody's mind I'm telling you guys this is not a complete troll pic. I really wish khaldor would have explained to the viewers a little bit about how valeera was setting up kills and how she was scouting and she also has wave clear, Believe it or not. Also she has an amazing ultimate. Both are very very good. And her damage numbers are so under inflated. Absolutely. None of her damage is just passive hero damage or things like that. That will pad a lot of damage dealing heroes stats. No this is not the case. All of her damage is burst. Damage kills on heroes. It would be nice to hear some counter arguments and some affirmations? Or just thoughts in general maybe even from the big dog himself? Maybe we can change his mind about pizza if we can change his mind about this hero 😂 (pineapples)
