Everyone's talking about MorphES, but that play at 2:03 (buying a Refresher Orb at the enemy fountain to reset BKB and Dark Ascension) was SICK.

If you look closely, he already queued a moonshard on his quick buy so he did bought that refresher manually in the shop with all the ruckus/clash going on while switching items. Damn Ultra Instinct and adrenaline rush!

We shall see when the tier 1 teams are playing, vg is one and has a tier 1 carry and they split 6 games in brackets and vg peak are a lower tier 1 than say lgd who was last year still just a similar but clearly better tier 1 team. Not that he isn't but it definitely is not established either. Personally kpii was a much higher wins over average player valuable to tncs tournament and a lot to do with how kpii strongly disincentivized void with his picks and plays cutting out one of the major heroes that beat other teams alchs, ns or morph and how many games did they morph shaker which is morph farming while team 4v5s for 30 minutes show up with aghs bkb and levels and essentially auto win. Morph shaker is absurdly easy to play at that point is forgiving and getting to that point is more on the other 4 really. Or alch where march has 10 stacks from march, kpii and tims and gets unpressured unforced jungling while coming online. I mean mason ti4, carries can look great when the other 4 make pos 1 game both simple and free.

this morphshaker have travel skills with DMG yet no drawbacks, long range skills, fast cooldown and can stun. The other hero that bypass terrain aswell. Those heroes are broken.

Point taken, but did you forget that during the old batch before outlanders, that morph es combo was already in existence. It was even used in Ti8 by Og. Gabbi and tims just had a good chemistry with using it they make it look easy. But there are still a counter for that combo if you think about it

It will apply a debuff first that last for 0.25 seconds before the damage applies, so yeah it can be dodged but with that blink dodge was probably a coincidence.

Easy to vote pos 1 for mvp cuz statlines of winning 1s vs losing looks lopsides regardless of impact. Kpii was consistently given less support than enemy team so gabi could be enabled on some alch or ns that is a creep in first 5 minutes or farm up for 30 on morph. I mean even his running down mid abba was close to the match mvp in impact.
I mean alch, morph, void etc are often more reflections on your teams ability to enable and funnel. No flame on Gabbi but he had to many free ish game where he got to farm free 20 to 25 minutes while his team is ahead. And those early ns games that looked great in groups were just ns being great it seems.
idk what yur blabin but i think gabbi on tnc is like Ana on OG.. they give so much on gabbi bcoz they know he can carry the game for them w/c is most of the time he delivers.. and on your comment about him free farming ill tell you what.. i think most of the success tnc got was theyre timing on gabbi's items and you cant do damn thing w/o ur carrys having bkb,radiance etc.. item choice, item timings and good decision making whats sets them apart from other teams.. if your talking about if what if they are behind? watch game 4 of MDL Major Grand finals vs VG how gabbi carry the team 28k gold behind.. as of ODPixel post comment after that game "even if Morph/shaker was broken you cant win every game even pro's lose with morp/shaker" your carry need to be crisp bcoz 1 mistake and/or your carry made some choke plays they'll sure lose so props to him carrying that game..
@@mikelcapoquian2203 ability to carry and celing doesn't equate to performance. It has nothing at all to do with Gabbis perfomance, more to do with pos 1 for tnc in this tournament had a lot of just complely unpressured early games at a much higher rate than the field. I mean its basically 1 being the 3rd or 4th most important position to have a stabdout player in but wins 75% of any mvp votes, with mid getting like 24 %
Also maybe the 2 best ti's by a 1 ever is different than arguably not the best at a major with 3 of the top 4 not present aren't really comparable. And there were a lack of down 2 sets of rax to a 24-1-12 tiny type of games, or beating an opponent playing at a level of say lgd at either ti, tnc played most of it's games from fairly far ahead and lost many of the games where gabbi had more resources thrown ar him in the first 15 than he recieved. Really not comparable, I could buy a has in the last couple months looked similar to ame over the years. And og's ti9 was a cakewalk compared to 8 in terms of the games required of ana to win as well, and I don't recall a Gabbi game this tournament I would compare to say anas top 5 games at ti8 even generously. I get you're a fan but it's an unfair comparison both to ana and the expectation levels for players when their fans do this imo. I mean ana has played at 7 valve events and won 4 all of which had the top teams at them and 2 of his 3 ti's are wins. And honestly comparing to ame is generous as one has been to the top 4 the last 3 years compared to largely this tournament.

Of course 3rd, 4th and 5th pos job is early-mid game! its to stable the lanes and give farm to your carry and basically it depends on your carry if he flops at the end or not.. you need to PERFORM your best to farm early! w/c of course difficult specially on tournaments bcoz your opponets will surely contest you! wards/trilane/pulls etc.. and still at the end you need to NOT die and lose the game.. and maybe you dont know gabbi is known as a top tier carry in the ph back on the execration days with tims,DJ,abed and gabbi.. and pal give the credit when its due he did play well and surely deserves the MVP.. if you have team in mind they will have theyre time.. as of now its TNC's time LOL peace out!
@@mikelcapoquian2203 when you afk farm for 30 minutes freely carrying the game should just happen, it's how mason got 3rd at a ti. Performance has so much to do with if you are enabled to just farm as the insurance while the opposing carry has a hard game. Both players at remotely similar levels and the first one win's and will have a gaudy scoreline just off the his other 4s performance and their ability to farm at a valve event level competent for their position. And also needing 50k leads to close a game is kinda a question mark on him as well ad ability to play from behind.
Pos 1 get like 70 percent of mvps and if you just polled players and high mmr that number drops to 20 ish. Most players don't remotely evaluate 3-5 performances even a lot of the time when one of them putting the team on his back.
