alot of them were pretty bad--he is no great singer thats for sure and was on a treadmill. that is what advanced him into old age when he realized what he was.
@@jaysilverheals4445 It is popular and maybe consensus to say Dylan is not a good singer. I've never thought he's not a good singer and don't see or rather hear how.
that's my take on it. true to himself, he walks to a different drummer. been a Dylan fan since '68, got saved in '86, then, when I heard Dylan got saved I felt relief. not sure why I felt 'relief' but I was truly grateful. my generation has not entirely gone haywire. some of us are founded on the Rock of Ages. glory be.
Never knew this just by accident found his lyrics s on how they did not want him around any more, and my reaction was praise God, wow... the holy spirit truly knows who are His... Newsflash ! Dylan says he still tries to follow the message of Jesus, even though he does not belong to any specific religion..I so respect someone who does not deny his faith and Dylan certainly does not. That makes me respect him even more.
'We're not talking about "religion". Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life.' Nailed it. He was a brave man to come out so publicly for Christ. It is a real taboo for Jews.
yes....those who do not KNOW Christ as a living person think of it as religion and it is impossible for them to understand that it is a relationship between the creator and one of His creatures. Most are "brain washed", prejudiced, biased, closed minded, controlled by society and refuse to even consider the possibility that what is being said is true. I was that way until I decided to investigate for myself. I laid aside all I had heard or thought I knew and did something radical. I laid a Bible on the table in front of me and said God if you are real and this is your book show me. My plan was to start at page 1 and read the entire book. If at the end of that time I found nothing then I would leave it behind and move on. If you are reading this and not a follower I challenge you to check it out for yourself.
David Carpenter He made me a fan...I grew up with my father loving Dylan...me, not so much...I always said he was an awesome writer...but not a great singer...but him doing and saying this, reached so many people. I am thankful that God is using him and kept him from being a typical fame whore...he (Dylan) always knew it wasn't about him, that's what made him so special!
They are talking about Religion , One of the two accepted etymologies of "religion" is "Re-Legiare" , to pass on a teaching by re-reading an re-reading scripture . So teach "Way truth and life" to the next person or generation IS "re-legiare". It *is* passing on a teaching whether the Truth or not , The other etymology of Religion is almost the same " Re -ligare" as "ligament" , re-attaching a teaching to the next generation through an unbroken string , tie , or ligament . The third is similar to re-Libre./ livre ........passing on a book (livre / Liber = book )
Jesus was a JEW. He had the message for us to LOVE one another. So many "Christians" hate Jews, yet they worship one - and the Roman Catholics worship his Jewish Mother, too. Go figure.
Jesus was about as much a jew , as Martin Luther King was a slave . If you believe the Bible then he was so UN-JEWISH that the pharisees condemned him to death for NOT being one
@@sharonatl I don't believe he's lost his faith at all. It's just that sometimes your relationship with Christ is more important than the argument with others. He probably just got tired of people trying to debate his relationship with God.
@@sharonatl I read an interview once where he said he didn’t lose faith, but rather he’s said what he wanted to say over the span of several albums and tours. And artistically he doesn’t like to repeat himself. Which I think is believable since he’s never even played a song the same way twice.
I have a new respect for Bob. Nice to see that his eyes are wide open. He's a believer allright. Who cares what the dogs think. Christ said " they hated me, they'll hate you, the world loves it's own, but you are not of the world.

I recall that period...listening to WMMS in Cleveland after Bob had a concert there, and all the complaints about his music. I became a born-again Christian in 1981 and found Bob's music at that time to be the most amazing Christian themed music at the time, and maybe for decades after. Much of "Christian" music then and now is shallow, crafted to entertain Christians. Bob's music is in depth, and thought provoking. I still enjoy that period today, and became a bigger fan of Bob's music since that period.
God bless this genius man. He was greatly gifted by the Lord Jesus Christ and gives Him the glory. Much courage for a Jewish man to convert to the true Messiah, Jesus Christ. Bless Bob Dylan and his family. In Jesus Name. Amen.
Bob Dylan is still Jewish, you don't lose that. Yes, he became what he said, "a born again Christian " who was saved "by the blood of the Lamb," but having said that, he is still Jewish. In other words, a messianic believer in Jesus. Hope this helps to clarify the situation. 💞 Blessings!
Jesus is Jewish - and so in a way are all Christians - the NEW Covenant has no barriers for those that belong to Christ. Christ brought us to God the Father - and He is God of the Old Testament. Christians are the true Biblical Jews.@@sjt609
I recall that Christians regarded him as a backslider ,once he'd stopped being so obvious. That's an error. Yes,he's said and done contrarian things . But God is his judge, and like Cohen, Cave, Cash etc? Hell be merciful in that they sought and seek Truth, and showed cultural courage
@@chrissi3193 Yes, the music and arts world can be even hostile towards artists who seek Jesus. That was the case earlier on (Cash, Dylan) and how again with Nick Cave. When you die you will find out if it is all true or just nonsense.. to be continued.. Bob made his choice , what about you?
Dylan himself said very clearly that yes religion was oppressive and that is not what his music was about it was about Jesus who is The Way The Truth And The Life. This is how I disagree with the commentator who spoke on the video it was in conflict with what Bob Dylan himself said in the first part of the interview..Listen for yourself. I guess he just didn't hear what Dylan said himself in the interview. The commentator clearly called in Religion. Communication with God is not Religion but relationship.
Religion IS NOT oppressive. The largest relief organizations in the world are ALL Christian relief organizations helping the poor, orphaned, needy, and down trodden. Catholic Relief Organization, Baptist Men's Relief, Habitat for Humanity (begun out of a church in Plains, Georgia), etc. etc. etc.
your nuts and young-VERY YOUNG. atheism is simply another religion in that if person says they are they are saying they know--which is not possible. Thus we have true agnostics. you think your wise but your not
I know someone who was an atheist, when things got stressful he'd exclaim Jesus Christ of all words or names thus affirming Christ in moment of indignity.
I'm 23. Love Bob and seen him a few times. I absolutely love the gospel years and his new box set. I have ALWAYs liked the gospel trilogy. People don't know shit. I kinda want to punch the idiot who says "Here want my ticket?" - These people knew Dylan was playing gospel material. They should not have went to see him if they felt that way. The lyrics and music from that period are stunning and have helped me amazingly. Love ya Bob.
There are Christian lyrics in MANY of his songs after his "Christian years". I would argue that Infidels is a more Christian album than any of his previous ones. Even just last year in a Rolling Stone interview he mentioned Jesus Christ as being Lord. And one that particularly stands out to me is a line from Where Are You Tonight off the album Street-Legal which was a year BEFORE his "Christian Triology":"If you don't believe in Christ or His sweet paradise, just remind me to show you the stars"
funny, I always thought the line was 'if you don't believe there's a price for this sweet paradise, just remind me to show you the scars'. In fact I still believe that, but surely he could have sung both. No doubt it's a fascinating song, technically the 'last' lines prior to the gospel period.
If you don't believe there's a price for this sweet paradise just remind me to show you the scars. And in another place, sacrifice was the code of the road.
Secular fans are atimes not concerned about the Star's Soul(inner Personal Joy, Peace and Happiness).........I am happy when I realize Artists I love have a Born gain Christian Experience ......Love Bob and his Defence of what he believes in.............Bob is a staunch nonconformist, Does what he believes in and tries his best to seek and speak the Truth.
The sad thing is that Bob didn’t seem to be involved in a local church to keep himself grounded and walking in grace. His songs from late 90’s all seem gloomy about ageing, betrayal and love sickness. Praying he gets a breakthrough in his soul and writes positive songs of hope and redemption again.
That’s not entirely true, though. Dylan is still a self professed believer to this day. He went back to his old music but he didn’t go back on the Gospel works either
“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9 “for ‘everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’” Romans 10:13
positive songs are for positive people. grief and grieving is natural part of loss. if you knew Dylan's story, he lost the woman he loved and was under tremendous scrutiny and pressure from his christian period. it is not easy to follow christ as a public figure.
Blessed by Dylan’s testimony of Jesus Christ!Old and New Testament go together like a beautiful song. The Old tells of the New and they both are a tapestry of the love and character of the God who saves his people!God Bless You Dylan. It will be all worth it!!!Peace is to walk with God!
Bob tells it straight but this Brit commentator interrupts and misinterprets Dylan's relationship with Jesus as religion, and says he got his info from the old testament when he really quotes the New Testament.
+Marco Polo Yep. Dylan was open to Jesus but the interviewer is discounting it. Maybe because he did not want to listen to the message? If Dylan's witness were true and they were fans, it had implications for them too. That's one reason for fans to shut him down. Persecution is what happens.
Those people who did not like what Dylan said, were actually be convicted of who they were. Not in line with God their savior. God used Dylan to speak His Word. Dylan was a tool used by God. Praise God. I wonder how many of those people turned their lives eventually to live eternally.
totally inappropriate for him to do that at a concert as dylan realized later remember they guy was very fucked up and when it comes to religion people look back at it the lowest they went in their life if they survive. I have experience with the subject partner alot more than you will ever find out. There is the issue such as Lennon and Yoko where people would not accept his lover and I objected strongly. sure I also hated her but I objected to that lovers of beatles lashed out against his chosen partner. You are a religious nut serving the wrong (little g) god either yourself, power, pleasure, drugs, etc. etc. Serve the King of Kings!
Bob Dylan was spinning Bible references and symbols in many of his pre-Christian period songs, very notably on "John Wesley Harding," but going all the way back to "Man of Constant Sorrow" and "With God on Our Side" which ends: In a many dark hour I've been thinkin' about this That Jesus Christ Was betrayed by a kiss But I can't think for you You'll have to decide Whether Judas Iscariot Had God on his side So now as I'm leavin' I'm weary as Hell The confusion I'm feelin' Ain't no tongue can tell The words fill my head And fall to the floor If God's on our side He'll stop the next war.
You're right. Dylan had the raw material of a believer -- and his encounter with the Holy spirit made him align what was always part of his vocabulary, his imagery, his impulse toward the truth. It's always disappointing to some when a person, especially a great artist, goes from struggling toward the answer to possessing it. But it shouldn't be. TS Eliot was persecuted by many of his former friends and allies when he explicitly woke up to what unconsciously he had been saying in his poems. But Dylan didn't cease being great. He just grew up. If he'd remained in the undecided state forever it would have cost him dearly -- and wouldn't be an endorsement of his work. Knowing Christ is the way, the truth, the life -- doesn't mean becoming some cookie cutter Christian. Knowing Jesus isn't easy. He's not the way we're told. He wasn't gentle Jesus meek and mild. His words and his truth is hard. But his word (He is The Word) is a matter of life and death.
I remember his most 'Christian' albums as Slow Train Coming and a year later Saved- both on Columbia label I think. Slow Train Coming is probably the better of the two- features Mark Knopfer from Dire Straits and is a must listen-Knopfer guitar is amazingly smooth and is to me worth checking out- Dylan as always the consumate songwriter.
I think when Bob Dylan wrote Blowing IN The Wind I Heard In It The Breath of God Hi Holy Spirit! The answer my friend is Blowing In The Wind The Answer Is Blowing IN The Wind! People it seems when it comes to speaking about God almost always see Religion and not Relationship !

well , theres a problem . When someone is told that "God" is the answer to everything you dont know , as soon as your old enough to ask questions (2 or 3 years .....USA 9 or 17 ) , then that indoctrination is almost impossible to remove . As an example ; How would you react if your father was arrested for sexually molesting your sisters and other children since before you were born . Or *(maybe a better example ) say if you were told you were adopted , and your father was in fact, not your father. Your first reaction would be absolute passive "No possible way / inconceivable " After a few hours and several statements and photographs , your attitude would likely be "Theyre lying / its a trick" A few hours later , when doubts start to seep in (despite irrefutable evidence ) youd be getting very *ANGRY*. Even by the end of it / even after its been proven to you ; youd probably say "I DONT CARE , HE'S STILL MY FATHER WHATEVER THOSE PEOPLE SAY HE DID " In the Court room , youd claim that the Judge and Jury were unfair and the Justice system is broken . I think I may have that roughly accurate as an example . So , picture a 3 year old thats affraid of "monsters under the bed" being re-assured that "GOD WILL WATCH OVER YOU" . Thats the very essense of indoctrination . I think Dylan was a Genius . But unfortunatelty , like many genius's (geniii ? ) he was indoctrinated to such an extent that when Judaism wasnt good enough , he sought out a new , better god . So did John Lennon , They dropped Christianity , only to find another "god" and religion in Hinduism .
it is important to attend church for inspiration...however i am so proud of dylan and regardless of what you are doing now you have enternal life. i think his best album is slow train coming. music is great and if you are a dylan fan, you should always be a dylan fan...you cant tell a person you are a fan of what to do for your own beliefs.
We don't attend church for "inspiration". We attend church to worship God corporately and to study his word. That's something quite different from inspiration.
The Vineyard had a representative on the religious music tours with Dylan. I don't think we can downplay the influence of The Vineyard on him and what he was thinking at this time.
I’m an Atheist. Don’t believe in what he was preaching but those Gospel shows looked fantastic whether you believe or not. Powerful performances. Some of his best.

I remember reading a report about Bob . He was on tour in Australia and a woman came up to him and said " Mr.Dylan I am just SUCH a huge fan ". Dylan asked her what music of his she liked . She answered , " Well mostly 'Slow Train Running ' " . Dylan answered " Oh, THANK you so much , but why did it have to be THAT album ? "
If people listened to what he said against war and singing saved and slow train coming amonst other christian songs they would benefit rather than hating on jesus and christianity which is very negative and why be like that in their heads? Dylan certainly wrote these songs for a very good reason, to give love and hope encouraging others to open their hearts, listen with an open mind, but he wasnt ramming religion down their throats and they did have a choice. I saw him play Earls Court in 1981 and it was fantastic and i just couldnt be negative on him even if he was being slagged off by some at the time in the music press and to be honest i think that period of Dylan was amongst his very best and i was really glad for him and his family that he was in a great place and big respect to him for his courage in doing what he felt was true, right and what he wanted.
@@buckyoung4578 Looking at your comment saying, "spiritual means nothing." Also you sound and smell of a troll to me.
Nice to hear an unabashed version of this period of Dylan-ology. Well many have gone through the same kind of thoughts about life and eternal things in the light of 'scripture' (granted there are many 'scriptures' per each religion). So that's nothing new, really. In my opinion, it's great music either way. So take it or leave it. For me it's very meaningful, the records from this timeframe.
I don't know who the fellow in the chair with the Dylan shirt is. He said some very interesting things. However, there is no "Christian phase" for anyone who accepts Christ as Lord and Savior. One either accepts Christ and is a Christian forever or they are like the seed that is either choked out by the cares on the world or is planted in shallow soil and flourishes and quickly dies. Bob Dylan has not said anything since he became a Christian that refutes what he said in this interview. Therefore, one must conclude that is is a follower of Jesus Christ and did not go through some "phase".
Bob Dylan’s old songs were beautiful, but what everyone doesn’t understand is that God is the Center and the Source of all beauty; so in a sense, all beautiful things are religious. If you don’t like Dylan being religious, you shouldn’t like his old stuff either.
As i see in my own belief, his music, and opinion he is obviously still following god and christ, not something you give up after god brought you back from hell
Why do so many people suggest Dylan is no longer religious? The man has been for modern Judeo-Christian values since he was a child and pointed out that he even believed in a higher power in the early 1960's. His songs are rife with biblical references teachings, especially with his more recent releases, such as Tempest and Modern Times. Just because the song titles aren't "Property of Jesus" and the albums aren't named "Saved," doesn't mean he's any less religious. Actually listen. Jesus.
My first year in Bible College was 1979-I played Dylan's song "I Believe in You" continuously.... I just went to his concert here in Tampa on 6/27/13 I was kinda hoping he would sing it.
The spirit of the atheist is a defeating spirit, he says. I think he also said in one of his songs, "Don't ask me nothin about nothin - I just might . . . tell ya the truth." How this man ever won such an honor as the Nobel Prize is a proof that the Lord may well be with him. The ancient Chinese considered that if one was "inscrutable," it was the most revered condition and the highest compliment you could pay to someone. I don't think anyone could argue that Bob isn't our best living example of "Inscrutable."
nah, the faith is still present, just not as explicit. It evolved and grew like everyone else's. It's there, especially thematically, on a ton of his recent work.
Sadly, Infidels marked his turning his back on his Christian period. I guess he got too much pressure from the record company to stop recording 'religious' material. Slow Train Coming was a big seller, but Saved and Shot of Love were not. He should have stood up to CBS and said "if you don't like what I record, then let me out of the contract. I've got a contract with the Lord."
Actually "Slow Train Coming" is Dylan's top selling album of all time. made in 1979 it took everyone by surprise. It's depth and conviction was typical Dylan. Many misunderstood. He was not selling religion in that album he was juxtaposed to the selling of religion if you pay attention to his lyrics there in.
Many people who commit their lives to Jesus need to accumulate information before they make their decision. Bob CLEARLY says in this interview that he believes that Jesus is/was for real. Also, BTW, that was not the first time people walked out on his shows, of course. Bob is who he is, and he has learned not to have to please anyone (except maybe God).

I would never walk out on a Dylan concert. He's the greatest songwriter I've ever seen. A fan is a fan. I'm a fan of his work. He is genius.
I agree with you Joe.
alot of them were pretty bad--he is no great singer thats for sure and was on a treadmill. that is what advanced him into old age when he realized what he was.
@@jaysilverheals4445 It is popular and maybe consensus to say Dylan is not a good singer. I've never thought he's not a good singer and don't see or rather hear how.
Dylan ALWAYS talked about God, Jesus, and Scripture, from his very first album on up.
True
Bob Dylan is one of the most courageous and talented artists ever.
that's my take on it. true to himself, he walks to a different drummer. been a Dylan fan since '68, got saved in '86, then, when I heard Dylan got saved I felt relief. not sure why I felt 'relief' but I was truly grateful. my generation has not entirely gone haywire. some of us are founded on the Rock of Ages. glory be.

Bob Dylan turned away from Christ. He chose to turn away and to become a fool.

Salute to Bob Dylan!........Peace people......can you really imagine a world without this wonderful, unique, musical, poetic soul?
Can you imagine a world without Christ-the once and COMING King!
No. No I can’t.
'We're not talking about "religion". Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life.'
Nailed it. He was a brave man to come out so publicly for Christ. It is a real taboo for Jews.
yes....those who do not KNOW Christ as a living person think of it as religion
and it is impossible for them to understand
that it is a relationship between the creator and one of His creatures.
Most are "brain washed", prejudiced, biased, closed minded,
controlled by society and refuse to even consider the possibility
that what is being said is true.
I was that way
until
I decided to investigate for myself.
I laid aside all I had heard or thought I knew
and did something radical.
I laid a Bible on the table in front of me
and said
God if you are real and this is your book
show me.
My plan was to start at page 1
and read the entire book.
If at the end of that time
I found nothing
then I would leave it behind and move on.

They are talking about Religion ,
One of the two accepted etymologies of "religion" is "Re-Legiare" , to pass on a teaching by re-reading an re-reading scripture .
So teach "Way truth and life" to the next person or generation IS "re-legiare".
It *is* passing on a teaching whether the Truth or not ,
The other etymology of Religion is almost the same " Re -ligare" as "ligament" , re-attaching a teaching to the next generation through an unbroken string , tie , or ligament .
I completely agree with Bob Dylans' approach to Christianity.
but what happenend to him...he didnt stay in the faith, just disappeared
@@sharonatl I don't believe he's lost his faith at all. It's just that sometimes your relationship with Christ is more important than the argument with others. He probably just got tired of people trying to debate his relationship with God.
right AT THAT TIME he wised up and felt even more worse.
@@sharonatl I read an interview once where he said he didn’t lose faith, but rather he’s said what he wanted to say over the span of several albums and tours. And artistically he doesn’t like to repeat himself. Which I think is believable since he’s never even played a song the same way twice.

Dylan will always be the greatest and Rough and Rowdy Ways is amazing! Thanks Bob and keep on believing the truth
And look at now, a Trump supporter.

God bless this genius man. He was greatly gifted by the Lord Jesus Christ and gives Him the glory. Much courage for a Jewish man to convert to the true Messiah, Jesus Christ. Bless Bob Dylan and his family. In Jesus Name. Amen.
Especially back then.

His 2 albums shot of love and slow train kept helped me find my way through some pretty dark times in the past .
Curious what Erik or others think about Infidels. It's phenomenal, but I would like to hear an analysis of its Christianity in particular
If you don't believe there's a price for this sweet paradise just remind me to show you the scars. And in another place, sacrifice was the code of the road.
Dylan's slow train is a masterpiece of soul, blues and content. Thanks Bob for uplifting my soul and pointing to the great commander Jesus.

And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9
“for ‘everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’”

positive songs are for positive people. grief and grieving is natural part of loss. if you knew Dylan's story, he lost the woman he loved and was under tremendous scrutiny and pressure from his christian period. it is not easy to follow christ as a public figure.

Slow Train Coming is probably the better of the two- features Mark Knopfer from Dire Straits and is a must listen-Knopfer guitar is amazingly smooth and is to me worth checking out- Dylan as always the consumate songwriter.

well , theres a problem .
Your first reaction would be absolute passive "No possible way / inconceivable "
After a few hours and several statements and photographs , your attitude would likely be "Theyre lying / its a trick"
A few hours later , when doubts start to seep in (despite irrefutable evidence ) youd be getting very *ANGRY*.
Even by the end of it / even after its been proven to you ; youd probably say "I DONT CARE , HE'S STILL MY FATHER WHATEVER THOSE PEOPLE SAY HE DID "
In the Court room , youd claim that the Judge and Jury were unfair and the Justice system is broken .

If people listened to what he said against war and singing saved and slow train coming amonst other christian songs they would benefit rather than hating on jesus and christianity which is very negative and why be like that in their heads? I saw him play Earls Court in 1981 and it was fantastic and i just couldnt be negative on him even if he was being slagged off by some at the time in the music press and to be honest i think that period of Dylan was amongst his very best and i was really glad for him and his family that he was in a great place and big respect to him for his courage in doing what he felt was true, right and what he wanted.
Bob is so correct. So many people are so confused about so called "religion". As Bob said, the only one you have to worry about lying to is God.
Bob pulled himself out of the depths.
No, God did.
Praise God, Bob Dylan so blessed you are speaking life.
For me " knockin on heavens door " was when I really seen Bob in a different way and on some of his " Hanks " album too. Spiritual Bob. Love him!!
I hear you. But being "spiritual" means nothing. Being a follower of Christ means everything.
@@buckyoung4578 Looking at your comment saying, "spiritual means nothing." That's a completely inaccurate, foolish and asinine statement, I think you need to go back to bible school my friend and find out just exactly what it means before you try to play the "spiritual" person here with your comment. Also you sound and smell of a troll to me.
@@holygeneration7 so what, it's their prerogative my friend however they want to use it: I use it in the way I seen that part in Bob.
I’ve read many times that Dylan always had a Bible open in his bedroom that he would read passages daily. 📖✝️🙏🏻❣️
I think slow train coming was the best album...lyrically and musically
Great interview with Bob Dylan on Jesus- the Way the Truth And the Light
Fascinates me how you are the final judge.....
Bob Dylan is speaking Truth here.
The answer my friend isn’t blowing in the wind. The answer my friend is Jesus
Slow Train, Shot of Love, Saved three of the best Christian music albums ever written. Too bad he ran so hot and then evidently went so cold.
Folk has always been rooted in gospel. Intellectuals that are trying to destroy folk music need to be sued.
Bob Dylan’s old songs were beautiful, but what everyone doesn’t understand is that God is the Center and the Source of all beauty; so in a sense, all beautiful things are religious. If you don’t like Dylan being religious, you shouldn’t like his old stuff either.
Reminded of the phrase 'There's no music in hell', Which I believe is true as I think there would be sound there but noise rather than music.
What is Bob saying about the subject these days?
+Double D i think it was goin thru a faze hasent mentioned the saviours name even once in all his books and records since this period
he is still following Jesus as well as his son Jakob
based on what?
Based on his interview and Jakobs interview.
Jesus.
A Real Spiritual Man
Thank you for your feedback, I respect your thought's and feelings about this , God Bless you , take care , I will pray for you
Exactly.
Jesus is the only way.
Whenever any religion is not being represented by its lunatic fringe, its a good thing.
My first year in Bible College was 1979-I played Dylan's song "I Believe in You" continuously.... I just went to his concert here in Tampa on 6/27/13 I was kinda hoping he would sing it.
What happened, Bob? Do we all really grow that old? I was hoping to be faithless and cunning till I don't need to be anything anymore. Love.
A good read "The Rage Against God: how atheism led me to faith" (2010) by Peter Hitchens (Christopher's younger brother.
Gregory. Thank you for sharing this. I've never heard of it and prob never would. I'll definitely read it, God willing.

Infidel was one of Dylan's best ever albums.
I loved "Saved".
Slow train Coming
Oh stop
This guy in the Dylan shirt is wrong. Bob is speaking from and of the New Testement.
Thanks Bob for the faith you've shown.
S.V.P. Quel est le titre de la chanson qui passe comme fond sonore? Elle se trouve dans Autoportrait. Merci
thats right JESUS CHRIST is no religion ,
to hell with religion
Amen brother you also have to remember jesus hated cropped religion that why he was killed
God Love & Bless Bobby Forever. Amen & Amein!
go back and listen to slow train coming......... its a great album...only took me 20 years to realize that.......
Love Bob Dylan...seen him once he was perfect.....😎
Many people who commit their lives to Jesus need to accumulate information before they make their decision. Bob CLEARLY says in this interview that he believes that Jesus is/was for real. Also, BTW, that was not the first time people walked out on his shows, of course. Bob is who he is, and he has learned not to have to please anyone (except maybe God).
