Fuel consumption of turbo 1.5 is excellent... It gives 12/13 in city and goes up to 18 on highway while cruising at 110/ 120... this car is a perfect choice ... However, AC and steering rack is a consistent issue .. in case you get an issue with AC, then the solution is only in changing the entire unit that may cost around 200K .
AC is a very annoying issue on civic 1.5 turbo 10th generation. You are right, I also changed the entire AC unit on my turbo and its performance has been good since then.
i own a 1.8 2018 model and it has been doing wonders for me i get upto 14 to 13.5 km\l in city but i have a bad habit of driving fast like 160 or 170 on longroutes on that the car gives 15 to 16 km\l but i tried curise control with 105 and my car gave me an avg of 21.2 km\l and i am contented to see such good average while sitting in a civic it really does wonders as it gives average of wagon r
280 bhp my ass. Without changing the internals or a bigger forced induction no way can he get that. Mapping plus the mods he has on it would only gain 30 to 40 bhp more on the stock. Kids these days love throwing out bhp numbers lol

turbo can give 22km average on 94km cruise and 20km/l average on 100-110 speed , I even got 750km+ on a single tank from my turbo
