News flash! They've just released a beautiful power ballad, "Reminiscence", about an hour ago. I like metal as much as the next guy, but I think this might my favorite of theirs thus far. I really like this softer side of them.
One more comment if I may: I noticed you like dong doubles, the MV and the same live. Although the opportunity in that instance is gone, RQ just dropped the Fearless live version, it is great. Seeing them live on stage must be an incredible experience. OMG, if they ever come to Australia, I’d be the first to buy tickets for every show…
Hi, I really appreciate your reviews / reactions, especially on Rolling Quartz, as I am very fond of that band, especially pushing traditional rock in a country where it is not appreciated at all. If you want to listen to something truly magical from these girls, you should check out their latest: Reminiscence (Sanullim cover from the 70s).
Enjoyed the reaction. No, Hyunjung and Iree aren't the "super shredders" like Midori and Miyako or Saki and Hazuki. But like you said, they play solos written specifically to fit the song. As a guitarist, phrasing is way more important than speed. Still, don't discount them as shredders. They'll surprise you. I'll leave a link below. It's a short, so don't bother reacting to it. Well this song hit 2 million views so, ya, it is a great song! They have a great look and always have cool videos.
