I actually use L1 quite a bit but not really for dribbling. Not sure if you know this but you probably do. If you hold L1 and then let go and immediately pass to the person you’re trying to get the ball too. The pass is WAAAAAAAAY more accurate. It’s actually crazy. Your player like deliberately passes the ball in a way that will avoid the opponent. Many times you’ll wonder how they even got the pass to the player.

It is , came here to say that. Im not 100% sure but he might be activating this without even realizing he doesn't need L1&R2. For close control , if your player doesn't have press proven or crazy high 90s dribbling stats L2+R1 is the way to go in tight spaces. Also 7:51 . If you pause it right there , this is a great opportunity to do an "effort touch" which i don't think he's talked about a lot. While waiting to receive the ball , hold R1 and point the right stick in the direction you want to exit. In this situation you would want to point it exactly like the red line towards goal. It works great if your player has basic First Touch playstyle and obviously even better with the gold. You immediately get the space and can shoot right away. Whenever your back is to a defender and he is facing you at an angle, you can use this technique. I do it when people press me high up the pitch. Driven pass into effort touch. If I get around the defender , I can just flick the RS one more time for a knock-on and I'm GONE !
I don't activate this or use it myself, not to say its useless but very occasionally, also effort touch is something I've talked about previously. At 7:51 the best thing is to do the stepover speed boost especially when you're playing a pro, it's all about margins. "I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times." The simpler you play with correct game awareness the better you'll play 💪

Lmao bro all these things your teaching will never fix this game. The game is simply unplayable. The biggest issue being registration and matchmaking balancing. 50% of inputs do not register, a.i is pretty much RND. A.i is pretty much always static defensively or offensively. If you combine that with the failed input registration, your opponent having better gameplay than you, AND delay then you might aswell quit the game. In other words, we appreciate your attempt at making this game playable but theres just too many hoops and ladders you have to jump through to get a basic mechanic to work. Thats just not fun. This game is dead, please let it die. It doesnt requires skill to win at all
It's why it's become available to download. It's just horrible game. 8 out of 10 games are slow and unresponsive. Not enjoyable. No more ea. Thanks ea for making it worse every year and now I've finally can say goodbye and get on with life😊

Any tips on what to do for 84 ping? Players can't turn. Every touch feals heavy.
Bruh I play on 108 ping sometimes, wired connection internet & controller and am still competitive I use a gaming monitor though
