I was actually new to PVP when I entered the tourney, and I'd like to think I got a bit better at fighting, even if I did lose a fair bit. I'm glad I gave it a whirl!
i dont know if i learned THAT much but i was happy playing the tournament on PC...
though, there was a few people who were a bit cheesy and spammed side bridge and would just loop you forever...

I absolutely love the concept of the world tournament because it gives people specific rules to the world of PvP and it gives playees unfamiliar gimmicks to work with. Only thing is, unlike most things in this game, connection ruins it.
This tournament got pretty crazy. I only played to 1,000 for the clothes but some of my matches were super intense comebacks and close matches. I wish XV2 did these more often. Some of the best matches I've had in a while. Aside from the games where the #1 on the leaderboard bullied me with fake blast.

I did eventually scrounge up a thousand points. The trick is that every ten battles, I got grouped with someone whose controller wasn't working or something, and it eventually added up. Oh, and the mute button: a few friendly reminders of "git good", "trash", "who the fuck does this guy think he is", is more than enough motivation without hearing it every other fight.

I fought against this Namekian who was using a very cheesy and annoying strategy where he went giant pushed me to the border and hit me and when he wasnt in the form he used a move where he had Super armour. but thankfully i managed to beat him with a stamina break and a Godly display followed by a Warp Kamehameha... he then messaged me and said i was hacking.... but all that matters is that ive got the Paragus Armour :D

@Burcol I did this tournament on the Switch version, and twice I ran into a player who used your character (was even named Burcol, looked exactly the same, and I ended up on the receiving end of Meteor Explosion). The way they fought certainly made it feel like I was actually fighting you, and as a PvE player, certainly showed that I've got some work to do on the PvP side.
As for the tournament itself, I did enjoy it despite my current lack of PvP skills. Went for a mostly Strike/Basic M. Earthling build (which I adjusted a number of times over the course of the event), and I was at least able to endure long enough to get the 1000 GP needed. Even had a couple close fights, and won one with just a tiny sliver of health left.
Edit: And then, of course, there were opponents that were just plain bad. One of them that I fought twice I could swear just started playing, given how they were the default M. Saiyan and were way too easy to combo/stamina break.

I made someone rage quit with my Xenoverse 3 CAC in this tournament. It was quite fun if I do say so myself. I made it to just a little over 1,000 QP points so I could get the outfit.

Honestly, I can’t tell if Burcol is an average player who only plays against trash cans, or if he’s actually above average at the game and always gets below average people.

Half of them don't use dash or snap instead they vanish and get stamina broken don't know how to use perfect guard either apparently no offense to bucol intended but I do believe half the players are Dookie with Black Airforce Energy

i can't tell if i should call you a Ki Canceler burcol, from this video i seen that when you mess up a combo or you will miss and be doing the few kicks attack, you will Shoot 1 ki blast to Get out of the animation just so you can't get punished for it,
Shooting a ki blast to keep your opponent from falling is completly different but using a single ki blast to cancel a combo or animation so you won't get punished feels.. weird
Lol so you would rather not cancel the animation and take damage or get stamina broken instead of canceling it so you don’t get hit or sb? I never understand people that get mad at ki canceling it’s a mechanic in the game that can be used so you don’t get punished if it was something that’s really not supposed to be done people would get banned for it or reported all the time….makes no sense when people get all messed up about this lol
@@stevencalef4550 i wouldn't say its a bannable thing but still if you make a mistake you should expect the opponent to counter attack you, but just shoot 1 ki blast, cancel your current animation and just dash out of the way for free, ki blasts where MENT to be fired at your opponent with volly's and Bombs and such, hence why they added charged versions, using just 1 ki blast because it Cancels whatever animation your using for a get outta jail free card is just Weird man, if you miss your opponent they should have time to attack you since your still in an animation, the community is 50/50 on ki stunning/canceling , Watch Steedoj and plenty of his videos will show you how much benfit you get for it just for pressing 1 button i kid you not
@@rinnegan2003 buts it’s still an option in the game if I can counter your counter I’m gonna and if the person you fight is using ki cancels don’t give them the free attack on you when ur in the animation use the ki cancel yourself as well to me if someone’s doing it and the developers see nothing wrong with it then it’s free to exploit

I joined but i got up to 2069 lol but i fought nothing but spamers and people who brakes ur stamina right when it starts im like what but i still won alot of matchs lol and i play on hotspot so im glad it wasnt so laggy there was some lag but not bad 😂
