i think travis is kind of a mirror for taylor's own ego, especially the ambition and desire for fame & celebrity. however, i see taylor growing out of this, becoming more disillusioned with the hollow nature of celebrity and the pattern of people-pleasing she has been so beholden to, and i think seeing these same patterns mirrored in Travis will make her aware of her own tendencies and push her to evolve. i also feel like she is still in love with Joe, and that she was more of her authentic self in that relationship, but perhaps she needed to have this experience of her ego achieving everything it has ever wanted (worldwide fame and acclaim, the football star BF, as much power as you could ever dream of) to realize that actually this is not what her soul wants.

I’ve noticed that over the past two weeks, when the Chiefs lost both games, Taylor leaves on Tuesday morning instead of staying for the week. According to the media, she’d initially planned to stay the week after both games. My first thought was that he might possibly have a temper and react like an angry child after the team’s losses. Made me wonder if that’s why she cut both trips to KC short. It would be enough to make me leave. Then after she leaves, the media reports on sweet comments that Travis said about her in the aftermath, and it made me question if he was doing that as damage control? I don’t know. This reading just compelled me to put my thoughts out there and see if anyone else was having similar thoughts.
