I almost cried at the juxtaposition of the early leavers vs the outside gate fans.
Its like a summation of humanity, the heart of the whole thing lies outside the gates, chanting & howling all the while
Getting out of the Philly complex is absolutely hell because it's everyone funneling onto one road. Smart people leave in the 8th or else it will take you 2 hours just to get out of the parking lot.
It's sad that people walked out when people who would have stayed aren't inside the stadium 😢😢😢😢😢😢

they have a mixture of kids and a few seasoned guys.. the manager is very much an analytics guy, taking out a pitcher not on a gut feeling but how the numbers stack up. it seems to work. Plus the Aquisition of 2 closers made a huge difference.. Sewald and Thompson have been lights out@@Gl6619

Hey genius, I’m referring to the actual rookies on the DBacks who excelled this season all the way up to the WS. It’s a comparison of the Phillies massive payroll failure compared to the dbacks rookies who don’t get paid squat. I was complementing the dbacks if you need me to spell it out for you.
As a huge Blue Jays fan and an even bigger diehard Raptor, I have so much respect for you and the Phillies fans for just showing up and cheering your hearts out. Your Phillies have a soft spot for me due to your connections with each other. There's always next year, and you guys are really awesome. Btw, massive congratulations to the Diamondbacks, they're really amazing.
As a Braves fan, you guys are making my boys blow up anything that isn't the core of the team. I have to hand it to you, the Phillies have one hell of a team. I enjoy the playoff matchups with Atlanta/Philadelphia because I know it's not going to be a cakewalk and each game is something that fans from both sides can look forward to. I just wish that the playoff format can benefit the best team, not the hottest team (like Arizona). I just don't think an 84-win team should have a shot at the postseason, unless they get lucky and finish 1st in a bad division. Oh well, good luck next year, you guys. Looking forward to continuing the rivalry.

Biggest thanks for sharing the inside of the game. I made it to the block party last 2 nights and thrilled to the energy of a game in Philly. I haven't been "to" a game since the Vet. And it hasn't changed much at all except for ticket prices. I watched your friend from 301 rally the crowd outside and you showed him keeping it up in the stands. You are what being Philly born and bread is about and without super fans like you, our teams would never perform like they always have. My heart broke as I watched yours break when you realized the season was over. Keep sharing the love, The brotherly love that makes us who we are, with the world. Maybe next season I'll get a seat in 301 for a game. Go Birds!!

I flew back home to see the first home game this year with my dad. When we were on our way to our seats, I saw the Philly captain, said “hi” briefly and the we continued on our ways. I remember explaining to my dad who that was I said hi to. What a great way to start the season. So sad it had to end this way, but it’s always a great run. Thanks Philly Captain for these videos as they are always a little piece of home. 💯⚾️

It was a great season following the Captain and the Pandemic crew even with the Phillies loss. We met John and Todd and Oscar and of course Luke in person all great guys!

As a Braves fan, the Phillie's offense suddenly going cold and the mounting of bad ABs as the series ended, is a but a fraction of the frustrations the Braves experienced after being the best team in MLB this season with the greatest offense in MLB history. Now you know! If you got beat by the Diamondbacks like this, imagine what the Braves would've done to you if even half of their offense was clicking 😉

This was the most frustrating playoff loss that I've ever witnessed. Unfortunately, the lack of line-up changes gave Arizona the blue print to the Phillies when the bats started going cold. Can't win if you're not willing to make changes. This series loss is all on Rob with his bullpen decisions and his stubbornness to change the line-up. Tough series to lose at home. It wasn't too surprising with the way Rob was coaching. Heartbreaking for all the fans and the owner. The bats didn't show up down the stretch when it counted and changes were never made to help fix it. It was a great season but being so close and losing that way at home just doesn't feel like it really happened as fast as it did the past two games.

I thought the Phillies were going to win the world series this year at the start of the playoffs since their season was so similar to last year. I am sure this hurts more since the entite country outside of Arizona expected the Phillies to win. I am sure this hurts like I remember the Cards losing the 1985 world series to the Royals when they fell apart in the world series after an incorrect call by umpire Don Denkinger at first base in game 6. It was like the team collapsed after that call. Long time Cards fan
