Hey guys! We live pretty close to you in Old Dayton View in a 3800 sq ft. 4-square. Our house was built in 1906. Thes old houses tell such a story when you learn how to read it. It does take a lot of dedication and special people to restore old houses like these. We moved in during mid-spring so we have yet to experience a Dayton winter though we have family here so we got bits of it during Christmas. Anyway, best of luck with your QA and thanks for showing it to us!
Ah, so good to see how the interiors are coming along! Congrats. I've been restoring a large Edwardian house over on Lexington near the Cox house that is being restored!
Thanks so much for showing this house, I was wondering how they were doing. Would also be cool to see the Cox house. Hopefully you can teach them a few tricks and maybe help them with a couple small tasks.
Thank you for stopping by! 🥰 We had a lot of fun with this and would love to highlight more restoration projects going on in the area. We want more people to know about ALL the exciting things happening in and around Dayton! ❤️🙌 ~Laura
I don't know all the details of how it was named; I believe they named the house "Wilhelmina" as it was a popular name when the house was built. "Minnie" is a nickname, and it's funny because there's nothing "mini" about this house or project. It's a fun play on words. 😊 ~Laura
Please do more old house tours! I love hearing the stories and seeing the projects!
We definitely will
Beautiful, thanks for letting us take a peek
You're welcome!
Wow!! Their ambition is so inspiring! This was a fun share- thanks guys!
You're welcome, and we agree! We're feeling more inspired to get The Fed finished up! 🙌 ~Laura
I hope you do additional house tours. I live in a 1918 house in the Walnut Hills neighborhood. I would enjoy seeing your rehab project. 🙂
Thank you for sharing this home Laura and Brian!
You're welcome! It was a fun project and we would love to include more like this 😊 ~Laura
