Tension was first introduced to me as a great game mechanic watching Tarkov many years ago, and only recently have I found out that it's the one thing I was missing in gaming. I'm a real sucker for amazing graphics, shiny loot, satisfying movement, and big explosions, but it's the tension of knowing that anything could go wrong at any moment (resetting hours of progress) and having to prepare a method to deal with these problems should they arise, that really takes a game from a hundred hours of fun to thousands of hours of pure delight for me. Great video, as always.

Oh yeah, it's a SonnyD video alright.
This video evolved my consciousness
Arma Wasteland and various other Arma mods were also played a big hand in Tarkov's creation.
Seeing DayZ Mod again gave me trauma flashbacks I thought I'd left far behind me
I found this video very educational.
7:50 A DayZ death if I ever did see one
