Dani Lang Brooke wasn’t plotting to take Ridge from her. That’s a lie. Brooke only told her that eventually Ridge would come back to her due to destiny. And he did. Taylor was just so scared that Brooke was right and she was. She never told Taylor that instead she said it was written in the stars that she and Ridge would be together in the end and not to worry about her kids Ridge and her would raise them with love. Brooke was speaking prophetically based off of her destiny mantra. And it did happen.

So while he fell in love with her. In his heart of hearts he never truly got over Brooke and never let go of her. Taylor’s insecurities wasn’t about Brooke trying to seduce her husband but knowing a part of her husbands heart belonged to Brooke.
