They nerfed the seal just to make Jerboa a better seal two tiers sooner
Be careful what you wish for
New owl is basically better than llama in every single way. They both have the same downside of requiring a 4 squad, and they both get you +1/+1 per turn. But own can put those stats on any unit, synergizes with Jerboa and food builds in general, and also gets you gold for selling the mouse.

Worms give you "Bad Apples" which can only be used to buff other worms (all worms at once or up to two worms get the effect). Jerboa doesn't trigger with Bad Apples
That would be cool, bad apple only buffs worms but costs 1 gold
Glad I made a cameo in a sag video. Also I can't believe Jerboa is the strongest scaler while moose is the weakest scaler.

I wouldn’t mind keeping all the apple gathering pets like owls and worm and nerfing jerboa to +1+1 to two pets per apple but make it a tier 3- think it would still be strong but not over powered - and also more fun then going back to +1+1 all pets but it’s impossible to get apples

Im typical TWG fashion they're gonna make jerboa hit only 2 targets and it's gonna end up as a rarely used, but still stronger than before, scailer.
I still haven't seen many people level up the toy pets, just buy sell them for the level 1 toy. Is it not good or is it just that there's so much other stuff to mess around with right now?
I think there is so much to mess with right now. Low tier toys def aren't worth it but I could see high tier being worth it like sting ray

Its custom pack exclusive but its been around about as long as custom packs
Jerboa should buff adjacent pets or worm should be nerffed, I do not believe that owl need any changes

I think a nerf to owl would be summon one/two/three level one mice
i think the best way to nerf this is killing owl (nerf it back or change rework to different angle), worm still okay-ish combo with jerboa with a sure way for jerboa to get apple, and it just 2gold apple.
the problem is owl, it summoning mouse based on its level is broken AF. at level 3 you get 3 gold with free apple to feed to jerboa. yeah, i know it limit you on only running 4 pet, but with a flexibility of food buff and toy, it's nothing.
Yea owl seems a little too strong. You also get the gold from selling mouse plus free apples. Kinda cracked
Jerboa is a better than old seal and then they destroyed seal which imo was pretty balance...
Why not level 2 worm and long neck dino
That works but it's way easier to just get the super early pets but it would be nice to get some free apples like that instead of using owl
